Telit's 3.5G UC864-G M2M Module Offers Global Portability and Functions with Both GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA Technologies RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 2010-- Telit Wireless Solutions, Inc., the U.S.-based mobile technology arm of Telit Communications (AIM:TCM), announced today that the UC864-G module has earned certification on the AT&T wireless network. The UC864-G is a 3.5G wireless data module designed for smart, embedded cellular applications requiring the global portability afforded by a radio structure comprised of quad-band support to GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA. Featuring an ultra-compact size, the UC864-G is designed to enable the high-bandwidth cellular data transmissions that consumer and enterprise electronics developers require for more complex, connected 3G devices. From video calling to detailed x-rays to real-time home security monitoring, Telit's UC864-G enables bandwidth-intensive communications for modern mobile video, data and computing devices. The UC864 product family is ideal for content-focused mobile internet applications, such as vehicle infotainment and navigation systems.
