Surgical Innovations Promotes David Marsh To Chief Executive Role

LONDON (Alliance News) - Surgical Innovations Group PLC, which manufactures technology for minimally invasive surgery, said Thursday that it has promoted Group Commercial Director David Marsh to the role chief executive officer.

Marsh joined Surgical Innovation's board in 2017 after the acquisition of Elemental Healthcare Ltd, a business he funded in 2006. Until now he reported to Executive Chair Nigel Rogers.

As Marsh takes on the role of CEO, Rogers will become non-executive chair.

Furthermore, Chief Financial And Operating Officer Melanie Ross, will hand over her COO responsibilities to a newly appointed operations director with effect from March 18 to focus exclusively on her CFO duties.

Alex Hogg, previously production director at Xiros Ltd, will take on the operations director role.

Surgical Innovations shares were trading down 3.7% at 3.01 pence each.
