Tech company Seeing Machines names Walker as new CFO

AIM-listed technology company Seeing Machines has appointed James Walker as Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.Walker is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales.Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer and, for seven months, acting Chief Executive Officer, of Optalert Limited, a company specialising in driver fatigue monitoring technology.Ken Kroeger, Chief Executive Officer of Seeing Machines, said: "We are delighted to have been able to attract a Chief Financial Officer of James's experience and track record and it is a bonus that he brings significant sector experience to the company. He will be an important addition to our senior team as we steer the company through the next few years of significant growth."Seeing Machines' technology platform is based on computer vision processing technologies that allow machines to see and track human faces and certain facial features.The share price was unchanged at 3p at 11:40 on Tuesday.MF
