US-based investment firm Socius Capital has invested $15m in AIM-Listed oil and gas exploration firm Range Resources.Range said the placement came at a premium of 10% to the company's current share price.It consists of 83.6m shares at A$0.18 together with almost 42m unlisted five year options with an exercise price of A$0.1898. Following the placement Socius will hold approximately 4.6% of the Company's issued share capital (on an undiluted basis).The firm expects the shares to be admitted to trading on AIM around 5 October.But the deal did not go down well with investors and the Range's share price fell 5% in morning trading.mm
