IN BRIEF: Iron miner Ferrexpo sets first decarbonisation targets

Ferrexpo PLC - iron ore pellet producer in Ukraine - Sets its first decarbonisation targets, ahead of the Cop26 climate change summit in Glasgow next month. Ferrexpo aims to be net zero carbon from its operations by 2050, with a minimum 30% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030. It worked with London-listed environmental consultants Ricardo PLC on setting the plan and on its planned emission reporting in coming years. In the 18 months to this past June, Ferrexpo already has recorded a carbon reduction of more than 20%, it says.

Current stock price: 320.52 pence, up 3.4% on Monday

Year-to-date change: up 14%
