Tue, 22nd Aug 2023 10:36

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Tuesday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Plexus Holdings PLC, up 47% at 5.5 pence, 12-month range 2.8p-5.84p. The oil and gas engineering services firm says the value of a major contract increases to around GBP8 million from the around GBP5 million figure it had announced back in March. The contract is for a specialised project application of its wellhead equipment and sealing technology, POS-GRIP "HG".

----------

RUA Life Sciences PLC, up 21% at 19.9p, 12-month range 15.12p-67p. On the day of its annual general meeting, the medical technology holding company shares an upbeat update on its recent trading in the first four months of its financial year. Says revenue has been in line with expectations for the period. In the period to the end of July, it manages to cut overall costs by 20%, as planned. Cash resources currently stand above management's budget. Additionally, notes progress with a customer-funded development project at RUA Contract Manufacture, which has the potential to be converted into a long-term supply agreement if successful.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

STM Group PLC, down 11% at 46.55p, 12-month range 23.1p-62.6p. The cross-border financial services provider again extended the deadline for an announcement of a firm intention of a takeover offer by PSF Capital GP II Ltd, as general partner of PSF Capital Reserve LP. PSF now has until September 5 to announce whether it has a firm intention or not to make an offer for STM. The deadline was due to expire on Tuesday afternoon.
