Metal Tiger Finds "Significant" Visible Copper Sulphides In Botswana

Mon, 09th Jul 2018 09:33

LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural resources investor Metal Tiger PLC said Monday it discovered "significant visible copper sulphides" in the last hole drilled on the A4 dome of its Kalahari Copper Belt in Botswana.

Shares were trading up 6.0% at 2.03 pence each early Monday morning.

The company owns a 30% stake of the project in a joint venture alongside MOD Resources Ltd, owner of the remaining 70%.

The A4 dome is the first one of several "buried domes", the company plans to drill within the T3 dome complex, which includes the drilling of 60 diamond holes budgeted during phase 1.

Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger Michael McNeilly said: "We are delighted to report that the latest drill hole testing the core of the A4 Dome has intersected what looks to be significant copper sulphide mineralisation.

"The onsite geologists are particularly excited by the stockwork morphology of the mineralisation which is a style previously unseen by the JV drilling."
