Pacific Horizon Investment Trust names Roger Yates as new chair

(Alliance News) - Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC on Wednesday named Roger Yates as its new chair.

The FTSE 250-constituent is an investment trust aiming to achieve capital growth via investment in the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, and the Indian Sub-continent.

Yates was chief executive of Henderson Global Investors from 1999 to 2008.

He is currently a senior independent director of Jupiter Fund Management PLC and Mitie Group PLC, as well as chair of British Biotech Trust PLC.

Shares in Pacific Horizon were down 0.7% to 576.00 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
