----------

DX Group PLC - Slough, England-based parcel freight, secure courier and logistics - Expands Maidstone, Kent depot by acquiring adjacent site. Doubles site's footprint to more than 88,000 square feet. "The enlarged depot will serve DX's Freight division, which provides B2B and B2C parcel freight services, and specialises in the delivery of larger and heavier items, including irregular dimension and weight freight," DX adds. Says visible copper mineralisation, up to 34 metres thick in one zone. "By reconciling these new data points with the geological modelling completed to date, the company has clearly verified material extensions to known mineralisation and potentially a larger underlying system then initially envisaged," Castillo says.

This includes "competitive tender" for processing equipment, electric furnace and project management services at asset. ----------

Iofina PLC - iodine production in US state of Oklahoma - Reports "strong sales" of iodine and halogen products as customer markets reopen. Notes rise in spot iodine prices, now around USD35 to USD37 per kilogramme. "The company is seeing good demand for its iodine and halogen derivative products. ----------

Blackbird PLC - London-based cloud video editing platform - Selected by Athletes Unlimited, a US network of sports leagues covering lacrosse, volleyball and softball, to provide cloud video editing services. "Using browser-based Blackbird, the media operations team will have instant access to live and file-based content for the rapid editing, enriching and publishing of content to the Athletes Unlimited website, social channels and broadcast partners for fans to enjoy," Blackbird adds. However, tips pretax loss to widen to GBP1.3 million from GBP970,000. Total expenses up 44% to GBP2.8 million from GBP1.9 million. "The success of our move to international markets is reflected in the near-doubling of year-on-year revenue," CEO Nick Smith says. "With our pipeline of new opportunities and the recent breakthrough in the USA, we are confident of continuing growth in FY22."

----------

Johnson Service Group PLC - Cheshire, England-based textile rentals - Says trading improves since May update. Workwear volumes in June around 98% of normal levels, ticking up from 96% in May. "We have seen some uptick in sales opportunities as businesses return to more normal trading patterns," Johnson Service adds. "The rapid increase in volumes has resulted in all staff being brought back from furlough, such that no further furlough claims will be made from the end of June 2021. In addition, we have recruited a significant number of employees across HORECA and this is ongoing."

----------

Checkit PLC - Cambridge-based workflow management software provider - Reports "suite of additions" to Checkit workflow management software. No allows for shared workflow libraries, which means workflow templates can be updated more easily. Update also includes job sharing functionality, allowing multiple staff to collaborate on one task. "Again, this innovation represents an upsell opportunity for the group's existing customer base," Checkit adds.

----------

Alumasc Group PLC - Kettering, England-based supplier of building and engineering products - Expects revenue in year ended June 30 of GBP90 million, up 18% annually. Expects underlying pretax profit ahead of board expectations. Notes promising demand and margins. Alumasc adds: "Demand remains strong entering the new financial year, which has started in line with management's expectations. The board is however cognisant of the potential for short-term disruption to our customers' operations from shortages of building materials, labour and road haulage; and delays in the global container shipping industry."

----------

Malvern International PLC - Milton Keynes, England-based learning and skills development - Says University Pathways deposits for 2021/2022 intake ahead of prior year. "In light of Covid, the UK government has extended concessions around student visa rules until April 2022, which allow online studies to qualify for post-study work rights. However, with the current restrictions in place for international travel, we can reasonably expect some delays to student starts to January 2022," Malvern adds. Explains travel curbs mean it has not budgeted for summer camps this year, but notes smaller groups may be allowed if restrictions relaxed. Malvern adds: "Pleasingly, before our plans for camps for this summer were put on hold, we received a significant number of bookings which points to a strong demand for our product."

----------

Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust PLC - investment firm focused on positive social impact as well as long-term capital growth and income - Makes GBP5 million follow-on investment in Social & Sustainable Housing LP, housing provider to vulnerable individuals. Says portfolio 97% committed and 66% of net proceeds from initial public offering invested.
