LONDON (Alliance News) - MedaPhor Group PLC said Tuesday it has launched the newest version of its ScanTrainer system, and has connected its first customers to the cloud.
ScanTrainer is an ultrasound-training simulator that uses what Medaphor calls 'real feel' technology to replicate the experience of performing an ultrasound. The newest update includes a move to the cloud, meaning that users can access and share data in the cloud, forming a "global online community for doctors".
"This is the first phase of our cloud-based development programme and we are now working on phase two, which will expand the system's cloud capability in 2015," said Chief Executive Officer Stuart Gall in a statement.
Shares in MedaPhor are trading up 0.5% at 57.30 pence Tuesday morning.
