LONDON (Alliance News) - LED lighting manufacturer Luceco PLC on Tuesday said that two non-executive directors, Tim Surridge and John Barton, purchased shares in the company on Monday.
Non-Executive Director Tim Surridge purchased 50,000 shares at 34.75 pence each for a total sum of GBP17,375. Non-Executive Director John Barton purchased 61,538 shares, also at at 34.75p each, for a total sum of GBP21,384.
Shares in Luceco closed 8.2% higher at 36.798 pence each on Tuesday.
On Monday, Luceco shares ended 8.1% lower. This came after the company reported a fall in UK retail sales for the first half of 2018 due to "retailer destocking and lacklustre consumer confidence".
