Halma PLC - Amersham-based hazard detection and life protection technologies manufacturer - Louise Makin, non-executive director and chair-designate, buys 10,000 shares at GBP24.59 each, in a deal worth GBP245,906. Makin joined the Halma board as a non-executive director Tuesday. She will replace Paul Walker as chair when he steps down from the board in July after eight years in the role.

U&I Group PLC - London-based property regeneration developer and investor - Chief Executive Officer Richard Upton buys 50,000 shares at 86p each, totalling GBP43,000.

Kainos Group PLC - London-based information technology consulting and software provider - Senior Vice President of Business Development Paul Gannon sells 200,000 shares at 1,335p each. Further, Gannon transfers 50,000 shares to a Family Partnership for nil consideration. Following the transactions, Gannon has a total shareholding of 7.7 million shares, constituting 6.3% of the issued share capital.
