LONDON (Alliance News) - Contract catering company Compass Group PLC on Thursday said its new chief financial officer, Karen Witts, will formally begin her appointment on April 9.
Witts will replace Finance Director Johnny Thomson, who will step down from the company at the end of December.
The chief corporate investment & risk officer of Compass Group North America, Palmer Brown, will be made interim CFO when Thompson departs but will not join the board. She will hold the role until April.
At the beginning of October, Compass had announced the appointment of Witts, the current CFO of Kingfisher PLC, as its own CFO.
Compass shares were trading up 1.3% at 1,560.00 pence each.
