(Sharecast News) - Artificial intelligence (AI) data analytics company Ixico flagged full-year revenue of £8.6m in a trading update on Tuesday, down from £9.2m year-on-year.

IN BRIEF: Ixico shares down as annual revenue expected to drop

Ixico PLC - London-based neuroscience data analytics company - Expects revenue in year ended September 30 to be GBP8.6 million, down from GBP9.2 million the year before. Says year-on-year revenue fall reflects the "impact of the early cessation of client trials during the year". Order book amounts to GBP16.0 million at year-end, down from GBP18.8 million in prior year. "This reflects the signing of GBP12.6 million of new contracts during the year, offset by the delivery of GBP8.6 million revenue and GBP6.8 million contract value reductions due to the early client trial cessations and minor foreign exchange differences", Ixico notes.

Ixico PLC - London-based neuroscience data analytics company - Says that trading in the second half of its financial year ending September 30 is "strong" and expects earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation to "comfortably" exceed its previous guidance of GBP1.2 million. Does not give numbers for expected Ebitda. It was GBP1.7 million in financial year 2021. Adds that full-year revenue will be in line with market expectations.

(Sharecast News) - Neuroimaging-focussed contract research organisation Ixico announced on Tuesday that an existing client has asked it to extend its breadth of services on their phase 1 and 2 trial into Huntington's disease.
