Inspiration Healthcare trades in line after good start to the year

(Sharecast News) - Medical technology company Inspiration Healthcare said its current trading year had started "well" with results for the six months ending on 31 July expected to be in line with expectations.
Inspiration Healthcare predicts it will achieve double-digit growth over the full year.

At its annual general meeting in June, the AIM-listed group said the significant investment made over the last two years to develop new products, strengthen its operational team and obtain accreditation for new products had put the group in "a strong position" to increase sales of its higher-margin products.

Looking forward, Inspiration expects to continue to increase the level of international sales, as it works with distributors to develop markets and search for opportunities.

As of 0820 BST, Inspiration shares had picked up 1.84% to 64.16p.

Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC - Crawley, England-based medical technology company specialising in neonatal intensive care medical services - Says that a material export order that was due at the end of January remains outstanding, and is unable to confirm a date, citing "factors outside of its control." Further, Inspiration receives a waiver from its lender regarding covenant tests on its debt facility on Tuesday. "Alternate covenants have been agreed until April 30, 2025 which will need to be met and bank consent received ahead of any further drawdowns of the revolving credit facility," it says. The company is also investigating alternative financing options in the event the order is not received.
