LONDON (Alliance News) - Dixons Carphone PLC is expected to post a pro-forma headline pretax profit above the top end of its guidance when it reports its full-year results on Thursday.
The FTSE 100-listed electricals and telecoms retailer said in June that it expected group pro-forma headline pretax profit to be slightly above the top end of its previously guided range of GBP355 million to GBP375 million for the year to May 2, after it revealed that like-for-like revenue grew 6% in the year.
Based on the combined forecasts of four brokers, analysts predict a pretax profit consensus estimate of GBP375.8 million, according to Morningstar. Of the four, Exane BNP Paribas has the highest prediction of GBP380 million, while Investec holds the lowest at GBP374.8 million.
Thursday will be the first set of full-year results released since the merger of Dixons Retail PLC and Carphone Warehouse PLC took place last year.
Shares in Dixons Carphone were trading up 0.04% at 461.90 pence Wednesday morning.
