Currys PLC - London-based consumer electronics retailer - Says just over 34% of voters at annual general meeting oppose motion to approve directors' remuneration policy. Motion passes with support of just under 66% of voters. Currys says it has "engaged extensively" with shareholders and proxies over "approach to executive remuneration". "The views of our shareholders are important to us and the feedback we have received has been helpful. The remuneration committee will now seek to consult further with shareholders to understand and discuss the specific rationale for any votes against our policy," company adds.
