The FTSE Small Caps index rises 0.2 percent and the junior-listedAIM index is flat, both outperforming a 0.5 percent retreat for themid-caps and the blue chips.
Styles & Wood Group, the integrated property services and projectdelivery specialist, falls 8.5 percent after the company swings to loss of 1.4million pounds ($2.17 million) for the first-half of 2013, from a small profitin 2012, while margins fell to 5.6 percent from 8.8 percent.
Chesnara rises 3 percent after reporting IFRS profit before tax, forthe six months to end-June up 134 percent to 21.8 million pounds year-on-year,which underpins a 2.5 percent increase in its dividend.
