LONDON (Alliance News) - Carpetright PLC said Monday that CEO, finance head and non-executive director, all subscribed for an aggregate 492,332 shares following a retail company's open offer.
Carpetright last Wednesday said it received acceptances for 92% of the shares it placed in its open offer, which alongside a placing is hoping to raise GBP60.0 million.
232.5 million of shares were placed at at price of 28 pence each.
In a transaction on Friday, Chief Executive Director Wilf Walsh, who holds 181,364 existing shares subscribed for 331,064 new open offer shares. After the subscription, worth GBP92,697, he holds 0.2% interest in the company.
Chief Financial Officer Neil Page, who holds 88,734 existing shares subscribed for 144,972 new shares, worth GBP40,592, taking his stake to 0.1%.
Non-Executive Director David Clifford, who holds 5,000 existing shares, subscribed for 16,296 new shares, worth GBP4,562, raising his stake to 0.01%.
Carpetright shares were trading 0.6% higher at 32.20p each.
