DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Auctus Board Subscribes After Deal Collapse

Mon, 17th Aug 2015 16:02

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday.
----------
Auctus Growth said it has pulled out of the proposed acquisition of a social media platform because it would "not be in the best interests" of its shareholders and also reported a wider pretax loss in the first half of 2015. Auctus said it had withdrawn from negotiations as it does not believe the deal is right for its shareholders, leaving it continuing to search for its first investment.

Following the collapse of the deal, Auctus said the board and founders of the company have agreed to subscribe to up to 244,000 new shares at 50.0 pence per share to raise GBP122,000. Those proceeds will "support the future acquisition plan" and "mitigate the abortive costs incurred in relation to the proposed acquisition" that has fallen through. Auctus didn't name the directors taking part in the purchases but said further announcements will be made in due course.

Shares closed down 18% at 56.00p Monday.
----------
Cobham said Non-Executive Director Alan Semple has bought 5,000 shares in the defence and aerospace company at 284.9 pence per share. Semple's shares, which make up his entire holding since he was appointed to the role on February 25, are equivalent to a 0.00044% stake in Cobham. Cobham shares closed up 0.7% at 289.60p on Monday.
----------
Diageo said Human Resources Director Leanne Wood on Friday sold 1,455 shares at GBP17.75 each. Following the transaction, Wood holds 4,556 shares in the FTSE 100 drinks company. Shares in Diageo closed down 0.2% at 1,771.88 pence Monday.
---------
Monks Investment Trust said Carol Ferguson, a director, bought 30,000 shares at 425.882 pence each on August 6. Ferguson holds 80,000 shares or 0.04% stake in the trust. Shares ended 0.4% lower at 415.20p Monday.
----------
JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust said that Non-Executive Director John Misselbrook bought 2,000 shares at 167.125 pence each on August 4. He now holds 6,000 shares in the trust. Shares closed down 0.4% at 164.52p Monday.
