As at 30 September 2009 funds under management were £1.665bn.Coal and anthracite miner Energybuild nearly doubled profits to £1.89m in the year to June as underground production rose 280% to 114,000 tonnes and saleable coal increased 108% to 239,000 tonnes. Revenues rose from £6.5m to £16.4m. 'The market for coal has softened in line with the general downturn in global economic activity. Energybuild believes it is well positioned to benefit from the next upturn in the market as it looks to further increase production from its high quality anthracite reserves into 2010 and 2011,' it said.
