HOUSTON, Sept 27 (Reuters) - BP Plc's joint-venture135,000 barrel per day (bpd) Toledo, Ohio, refinery has beenrunning at reduced production levels since Tuesday, when thesulfur recovery units at the refinery were shut, according tosources familiar with operations at the refinery.
Refinery production was cut to reduce sulfur pollution fromthe refinery. An SRU removes sulfur from hydrogen sulfideextracted from motor fuels and their feedstocks in compliancewith U.S. environmental regulations.
The Toledo refinery is a joint-venture between BP and HuskyEnergy Inc. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
