Gold and tungsten explorer Aurum Mining said its partner in a tungsten-tin scheme in Spain had achieved upbeat drilling results, boosting its shares.Aurum, which owns a fifth of the Morille project in north-west Spain, said Plymouth Minerals had finished the first phase of a drilling programme and was encouraged by the results of the first 12 drill holes.Samples from the remaining 49 drill holes have been sent for analysis and all results are expected in four to five weeks.Aurum's Chairman Sean Finlay said: "The work carried out to date enforces the board's view that Plymouth will add significant value for Aurum's residual stake in Morille. We look forward to keeping the market updated on progress." Shares rose 0.18p or 11.7% to 1.68p at 16:23 in London.PW
