UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: InnovaDerma Hires Blake Hughes As New CEO

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

InnovaDerma PLC - London-based developer of beauty, personal care and life science products - Hires Blake Hughes as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Hughes replaces Interim CEO Joe Bayer, who will remain as executive chair and then revert to non-executive chair after a transition. Hughes, who will be based in the UK, was CEO of hair care range Philip Kingsley. Prior to that, he was managing director for Europe & Africa at skin care brand Murad.

Solid State PLC - Redditch, England-based electronics for industrial and military markets - Promotes Nigel Rogers from non-executive director to non-executive chair, effective immediately. Rogers replaces Interim Chair Peter Haining, who reverts to non-executive director. Also recruits Peter Magowan as an independent non-executive director from January 1. Magowan is a former board member of computer chip designer ARM Holdings and was an executive at fund manager Fidelity International Ltd.

Ethernity Networks Ltd - Lod, Israel-based network processing technology supplier - Graham Woolfman resigns as chair and board director, leaving by the end of the year "to concentrate on his other business interests". CEO David Levi will be interim executive chair until a replacement is found.

W Resources PLC - tungsten, tin and gold mining in Spain and Portugal - Pablo Neira moves from non-executive director to executive director to oversee the La Parrilla tungsten and tin project in Spain as managing director. He joined the W Resources board back in September 2018. Also hires Paul Hailes as chief financial officer. Has was finance director for AIM-listed Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC.

Alumasc Group PLC - Northamptonshire, England-based building products - David Armfield resigns after six years as non-executive director "due to pressure from other commitments", effective from December 31.

Montanaro UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC - Hires Barbara Powley as a non-executive director, effective immediately. Powley also is a non-executive director of M&G Credit Income Investment Trust PLC. Powley worked in the closed end funds teams at Fidelity and then BlackRock from 1996 until retiring in 2018.

Benchmark Holdings PLC - Sheffield, England-based aquaculture genetics and nutrition - Hugo Wahnish to resign as non-executive director from February 9, after just over three years in post.
