International Mining & Infrastructure Appoints Cooper As Chairman

Mon, 03rd Nov 2014 08:50

LONDON (Alliance News) - International Mining & Infrastructure Corporation PLC on Monday said it has appointed Ethelbert Cooper as its non-executive chairman with immediate effect.

Cooper was one of the co-founders of FTSE 250 oil explorer Afren PLC and is chairman of African Iron Ore Group Ltd, the strategic partner of International Mining & Infrastructure.

"I am delighted to become chairman of IMIC, a company I already know well through its strategic relationship with African Iron Ore Group. IMIC has grown rapidly since it was founded four years ago and it is now a company with world-class iron ore assets in Cameroon following the acquisition of Afferro Mining Inc," Cooper said.

International Mining & Infrastructure shares were untraded on Monday, last traded at 15.375 pence.
