Unicorn AIM VCT PLC - Devon-based venture capital trust - Net asset value per share at March 31 was 195.7 pence, down 21% from 248.6p in September. Total return per share before dividends paid in the half-year was negative 17%, underperforming its benchmark, the FTSE AIM All-Share Total Return Index, which fell by 16% in the same six-month period.
Dividend is unchanged at 3.0p per share but declares special interim dividend of 32.0p, having received about GBP55.1 million from the GBP1.49 billion sale of Interactive Investor Services Ltd to abdrn PLC.
Unicorn AIM VCT believes it "is well-placed to deliver strong growth over time, while also being encouraged that the pipeline of potential new investments remains promising".
