I'm still hopeful that we will get another offer before the court meeting.
So am I optimistic guy.
I feel it's more likely than not - certainly should be!
Don't think any of the big players will be interested. The only piece they would want is the super duper disruptive Ranger technology. Lol
Minimum 1p is what we should get though my break-even is 5.5p.
LR is the worst CEO and will be remember for decades how he lied to the SH and destroyed their investments.
Don't think anyone is going to pay nearly double.
If Ranger and EDTA usability is value to the users then i see better valuation that's being offer mate.
But like of us we are in the wait and watch game at the moment. Let's see how things play out in next 2-3 week before the court meeting. Also, Ncyt core biz revenue are dwindling so for them Yourgene will bring revenue, customer and will open doors in many regions.
ncyt is a complete ****e show. been going for years and never made a penny until covid. what with a pending court case next year. one to keep clear of for now.
If what we are led to believe is true with Ranger then yes, it could well be valuable.
At least it has been verified by independent others like Labcorp and LaVal uni. Couldn't otherwise believe a word if coming from Rees alone.
Ranger is the main reason i believe we should get a higher offer. Let's see if there are any companies who sees values and willing to give us a higher offer.
Do you believe LR can be trusted to really push Ranger? I would love to know how hard they are working to secure another bidder rather than present Novacyt as the only game in town before LR moves on to his new role there.
Not a chance Rees is looking. He's got the deal he wants, end of. Should be locked up imo.
I rather think you're right davand!
There is an improved offer out there so long as we are keen to do it, but I suspect Lyn may be going through the motions or even secretly sour it rather than aggressively pursue and secure. Trust has been lost!
If no alternative bidder arrives we should ALL support Andrew Kennedy's deserved action.
We should all support Andrew regardless. It won't affect anything as it's at a personal level I believe. Just what he deserves imo.
So, what you mean twix is that even if there was a higher offer it would be tabled to the shareholders?
Davand...if we got a materially improved offer i would frankly be less minded to go after LR than if we didn't.
"...even if there was a higher offer it would be tabled to the shareholders?"
so what you mean Optimistic Guy is ".... it wouldn't be tabled"
to answer...of course it would be tabled but I suspect it's not really sought so proposition would be subtely downplayed and may even try to make it quietly unpalatable. Simply I conclude Lyn cannot be trusted.
Ygen is being sold far below the fair value. Look at the report / view on simplywall "Price-To-Sales vs Industry: YGEN is good value based on its Price-To-Sales Ratio (0.5x) compared to the UK Medical Equipment industry average (3.3x)"
https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/healthcare/aim-ygen/yourgene-health-shares/valuation
Indeed Optimistic Guy.
So what! You've spent your whole time making such statements and I'm sure we would (all) agree. That does mean it comes to pass and history and experience demonstrates that.
I'm sure we could get a better offer but not if LR isn't leading a serious attempt and throwing the kitchen sink at it and my growing assumption is he is quite content with Novacyt and his negotiated role. That means he must still table any higher offers but he controls all the aspects of the information flow and efforts employed.
No matter how attractive we are and Ranger makes us...we don't know if shareholder interests are really top priority or if we will simply hear it proved impossible to agree terms within specified deadline.
imv a higher offer is there to be agreed. I'm just not sure how much secret resistance and blocks or may encounter whilst LR tells us everything is looking good......Deja-vu
Typos
that doesn't mean it comes to pass.....
blocks we may encounter...
So
we may (I pray) get an offer tabled..... if they are genuinely seeking one or if one is inspired anyway by their lacklustre but required efforts.
What i am sure of is if no offer tabled they will have ticked all the boxes to safeguard themselves. LR needs to finally demonstrate he's working for shareholders and being sincere!
"Working for shareholders and being sincere".. ha ha!
Well I sure hope it's busy work behind the scenes with the multiple bidders who ate falling over themselves to secure Ranger and a growing core business currently under an underwhelming cash offer less than 1 times revenue!!
I hope Twix that is the case mate :)
For those planning to vote NO.....if there's no other bids you're voting against means if successful we will effectively be a basket case of NOTHING!
Surely the way to go is vote in favour, back Andrew Kennedy and meanwhile keep fingers crossed for a new bidder to appear.
It may stick in the throat but our saviour is only a new bidder. Not a Turkey voting for Xmas. aimho
