It sounded like CB got a new man in doing PR!!!
Well....looking at copper go ballistic, lets give Colin a chance to sell BR in the next 6 months. 3/4/5p would definitely make a few shareholders happy and improve his credibility.
Over to you, Colin!
I doubt BR will be sold for at least 12 months and probably more like 18 months. We will need POC to go over and stay above $12K for some time before the majors want it imho
Also I suspect POC will be going much higher than whatever the price it is in 12 months (2 year bull run??) So I hope he doesnt sell too soon?
At least it looks like those who didnt sell on the down turn should get rewarded...eventually. And CB may get some credibility back :)
Copper up just over 20% in the last 3 months.
I know its exceptional but at that rate it could over 15k by Christmas.
After all, a bull market has been predicted.
Tricky game this .. calling the copper rally one thing .. picking the related AIM stock to punt on another thing on top ..
While I’m disappointed this has not yet rallied decently,so far.. it’s somewhat surprising more than shocking to me ..
And right now all I got to offer is :
This time next year …. you know it makes sense (Rodney)
6 May
"Goldman Sachs has raised its forecast for copper prices this year (2024) from $10,000 per ton to $12,000 per ton, indicating that copper prices must rise to $15,000 per ton next year to avoid a supply gap"
"Goldman Sachs expects that to incentivize long-term mine investment, the long-term average price needs to be maintained between $12,000 and $13,000 per ton; to address the short-term copper scarcity issue, the average copper price next year is expected to reach at least $15,000 per ton. "

$11K in July ????????
US$5/lb hit and up over 5% so far today, strong rally to say the least
Lucky. You might be happy with 3 to 5p but the SP has dropped mire than that, mainly due to overpromising on BR.
Records broken
keeps going vertical !!

Cocoa went down 19% yesterday so shows the volatility of these products. But hopefully we are now in a long term higher trading range.
I am still not sure why it is taking so long for Colin to get any production out of the "simple" open pits mines he has bought across the Group.
It's because there's too much to do for an Octogenarian !
My father is 87, I wouldn't trust him to steer his car let alone at least 3 AIM companies.
And he used to be a great driver, he did it for a living for many years.
If CB falls off the perch God forbid, what will that do for "his" companies ?
I owned a car custom shop 20 years ago, started it from my shed, grew it into quite a large concern, I sold it as a profit making business, it went bust two years later mainly because people bought goods from me not the company.
The company died with me so to speak.
IF CB has an unscheduled retirement who is in line to steer this particular ship of his making ?
We need a CEO for that reason alone.
"If CB falls off the perch God forbid, what will that do for "his" companies ?"
Probably a share re rate :)
Disgusting posts.
Get a CEO who can actually do the job then OSV and Colin will stop getting flak.
The man provides enough hot air to power a hot air balloon.
What part is disgusting ?
They seem to be popular posts.
Death is part of life CareHomeDweller, and it's more likely to happen the older you get.
You should be accutely aware of that.
How's the shareholder wealth scheme getting on ?
What is disgusting is CB saying to shareholders re BR:
1. I'm not worried about the grades we know we have them. Then changes that to " The grades fell away"
2. We were biting our nails re the 2mt but now we have the ascot discovery we dont need to bite them anymore. Announces 1.3 mt
3. This is a tier 1 asset then at an AGM 18 months later said its hopeful going to be a tier 1 asset.
4. Saying if they offer me 10p I'll tell them to stick it.
5. The buy out wont be a death by a thousand lashes in April 22...over 2 years later nothing
What really gets me is that he doesnt accept any responsibility that when reality met his comments the sp fell.
Apparently, It is nothing to do with his BS forward guidance, just external economic macro factors ! 5% of that is probably true but 95% of the fall is down to him
Just wondering out loud, is it possible to take out a Group Litigation Order in this instance.
There's plenty of evidence that SH were misinformed. (see post below)
After all, SH invested here on the only information available and that was from the company and specifically the Chairman.
What say you OSV ?
I am not too bothered about BR as that ship has sailed until AA decide what to do. But even Silverking they were talking about 24 months to start production in the podcast. Luansobe production has gone quiet despite doing a presentation last year saying it would be mid 2023. Same at AFP and BZT. Now is the time to give clear guidelines when production will start. Hopefully drilling in NW Zambia will brighten things up, can only hope.
If there was anything on the horizon CB would be RNSing the crap out of it.
It seems there isn't.
That does seem the markets impression unfortunately. Bar a big buy at AFP a couple of days ago, there has been no interest in the Companies. And that is with copper at all times high. If copper was at $3 a pound would the shareprices be any different ?
I admit I am frustrated as much as anything and I hope patience will pay off. But having invested in the Group for the rising copper price and NW Zambia I feel some payback is due.
