Well good day in that we bounced back up from £1.19ish - bad day in that it was another 1 % + down . Seems only a matter of time before we are back into the £1.10’s . Maybe we need the force back
It was a very good day for me Mikey as all of my shares were up apart from Vodafone, especially my biggest holding Lloyds, that had a good results day, but they all have their up and down times, the big question for me is whether to sell up my Vodafone shares or top up when they have bottomed out whenever that may be, alternatively possibly just do nothing as it may not be as bad as you think, don't think anyone can give an answer to that one
Ouch.....been a bad couple of days....thinking/hoping it will bounce back to the upper 120's then will decide what to do...was hanging on for the 140+ but even the the most patient will be tired with this....Rob yes been a good day on the Lloyds front..... have been looking at DEC maybe worth a punt still have some GLO to sell....Just don't see why the drop here results were not that bad....maybe Mikey has been doing the voodoo dance to bring the price down to buy in....what do you think Dan?
I can guarantee one thing - i wont be buying any while Read is the CEO no matter how low it goes
And just for Dan - the Vodafone Business CEO Vinod Kumar would make a great CEO - he gave great conferences - listened to his staff - offered reasoning for everything he did and admitted if he thought he was wrong . Read fobbed people off in conferences as he did at the AGM
I think it is obvious by now that Mikey & his 4 supportive cronies have an almost pathological hatred of Nick Read. He owns 1 share & after working for vod for many years, just wants the share to collapse because of some warped, revenge because his share options did not make him enough money. You see it sometimes when people retire. They want to just put down the company they owe there living to. I don't know if the vod sp will go up,or down, but if I sold all my shares tomorrow, I would not come on here talking the sp down just to be spitefull as Mikey clearly is. Of course he will come back with his usual childish response, but there you go.
So Mikey. How many votes did Vinod Kumar to be the next C.E.O. get then?
Oh dear oh dear - i am talking the share price down am I Dan . As I have repeatedly said , vodafone was a great company to work for with some great people working for them . The one mentioned below is one of them . He had respect from his staff and people trusted him . I do not want the vodafone share price to collapse just because I say it is going down , the opposite , and if 4 people recommend my posts then that is up to them - I dont post on here telling people anybody agreeing with your posts are making it worse . If people recommend then fine thats what the button is there for . I worked under several CEO’s while at C&W and Vodafone and in my opinion - yes its an opinion Dan - Read is by far the worst , and thats saying a lot when you look at some that C&W had .
Please tell me when I have put the actual company down , I havnt , now Read is another matter .
Sotonspike. Hello. Sorry if I am being a bit unfair on Mikey, but the idea that Mikey is clever enough to bring the vod price down with his voodoo dance so to buy in at a lower price, or perhaps short vod, is about as likely as him being re instated as the next C.E.O. with Elvis Presley being next on the B.O.D. Of course Mikey will respond with his usual daft comment.
Er respond with a daft comment - have you read yours back Dan :)
“So Mikey. How many votes did Vinod Kumar to be the next C.E.O. get then?“
Talk about a daft comment . Do you know how this CEO thing works . Obviously not . Its not like the x factor Dan where you vote for your favourite person . Read is CEO and until he is removed or decides to leave why would Vinod get any “votes” - have you been having a crafty drink again Dan
Soton, did you have that big wooden spoon in your hand when you posted earlier, i could see this would follow lol
Rob hindsight is a wonderful thing....I blame it not on Read but on the red wine.....sorry Dan/Mikey if i stirred things up... Up the vodders think things will improve tomorrow...
sotonspike. Sorry about my jokey comments, but I agree the drop is surprising, It's a bit difficult on here though with some of the crazy posts from you know who. I will hold. Of course the sp may fall to £1 as it has before, but I am a long term vod holder, who doesn't hold a grudge against the vod. b.o.d. & I think the sp will rise in the long run.. I may even buy some more shares when I get my divi. All I ask on here is, If you want to be negative about vod on this forum please give reasons apart a hatred of Nick Read & an obvious resentment of you former employer.
They may do. US markets had a barnstormer after fed raised rates but said doubt US in a recession. Even the VOD ADR's tickled up.
Dan you need to put the bottle down - As i previously stated I dont resent “Vodafone” and i do not have a “hatred” of Nick Read . In my opinion he is not a suitable CEO - that is not the same as a hatred of him . Awaiting your daft response !!
Mikey. Looks like only one option then? But do you have the nerve, poison, or shoot him. I think he may wear a bullet proof vest? We are all behind you??!
