There's the way that it is, and there's the way that its meant to be.
Some of you think Vodafone should be going up, that is the way it's meant to be.
Unfortunately it's going down, that is the way it is.
Don't blame the messenger.
There's the way it is, and there's the way it's meant to be....
G.S. When you were born your mother thought you would grow up to be normal, that's the way it was meant to be. Unfortunately you turned out to be a complete idiot, that's the way it is. What a shame.
MDV the Vod destroyer
Past and present
The Great Urdu Poet Ghalib once said, "Accepted that a person who drinks (in Islam drinking is perohibited) is doing bad deeds but discussion shoud be civilised".
Vetta. I think you should be perohibited (sic), Or at least you could make sense (in English) not Urdo.
Desperate Dan - I did not know you was sick, what is wrong with you?
Gutter snipe, look up the meaning of (sic), that way you might understand?
I once invested in something that quickly lost 65%.
I waited and waited and waited, when I sold it returned me 20 fold on my stake.
£19.5bn is way overpriced for this pos
Come on 6s
On what basis is it overvalued jax? Can you put any substance behind this baseless assertion?
Come on Avo take the blinkers off
Declining….
customer numbers
Revenue
Fcf
Divided (imo)
Increasing…..
Servicing debt
Competition
Unlikely……
Merger will happen
Germany will improve
No recession in key economies
On the plus side:
E& is still keen
We have MDV the saviour (joke)
The brand counts for nothing imo - Vod can easily go bust like any other poorly run business
Now you show me substance behind your counter argument other than looking at yesterdays sp and saying that’s where it should be me old mucker
Dan, hope your feeling better mate, gutter mentioned you wasn't feeling very well :-)
Mrlong, It will depend how long you can wait. And how old you are if you're 18 you may have a bit of a chance, I've waited 6 years and it's just kept going down , seriously though i really hope this has turned a corner but i wouldn't like to bet my life savings on it, right now i will be happy to see it get back to a £1 so i can recover the losses from my last top up here, the remainder i will just leave in here and just keep taking the dividends
If they are selling off parts of the company to reduce debt that will possibly mean less profits for Vodafone in the future
I will ask you guys you're opinions on that
share prises dropping the last week seems to be the general trend with most shares though , so don't think we should be too hard on vod at the moment
Well rob, I can't expect you boyo's from the valleys to understand what (sic) means, but I am feeling a bit better,(can't think why?) but thanks for your concern. Have a good week boyo, sorry, I mean Amigo.
Correction I meant Urdu,not Urdo.
Dan, i take it you didn't like my joke? never mind
Rob, I liked your joke, not a lot, but I liked it. Seriously though I did like it, & had a good laugh, out load even!? So perhaps you have a sense of humour after all? Keep it comeing Amigo. Laughing beats moaning any day. What was it that the great Urdu poet said, or was it Enrie Wise with the poem what we he wrote?
Sorry Jax, none of what you have said show me that these perceived facts are not already backed into the sp.
You mentioned specifically that 19.5 billion is overvalued.
How was this calculated please.
If you can't answer that, then you cannot claim that 19.5 billion, your figure not mine, is overvalued.
The market is in the process of revaluing Vod - easy to understand
Up or down tomorrow take your bets
Baked in - you ain’t seen nothing yet - to the beat from that well known song
Rob most of my holding here is our isas so it money I’ve moved across and don’t need. I’ll wait as long as required is
The truth, there’s no pressure. I believe this share is over sold and under valued even based on all the info we’re all aware of.
It will only drop to a certain level before someone makes an offer and then it would jump up anyway. The Middle East interest looks good to me and as a cash generator, it’s pretty good.
Mrlong, I can only tell you what a disappointing share this has been previously, trying to predict what will happen here next is a lot more difficult, but i keep my fingers crossed that we will at least see this back a pound in the not to distant future
unlike some of my other shares that have gone up and down within a range Vodafone has only gone one direction which means you get caught in a trap with two options sell off at a loss or hang on and hope it will recover, so as much as i want you guys to be right, i need to actually see it happen if that makes any sense, so i will just keep an open mind about it for now
we all know mobile phones and 5g etc. is the technology of the future, but will it be rewarding for it's share holders
let's hope something good can finally happen for this share
best of luck
Jax all you have posted is the old blah blah bla. You have not substantiated your claim. Don't bother posting the same again. It's meaningless.
Jax "Baked in - you ain’t seen nothing yet - to the beat from that well known song".....I Prefer "The only way is up"....Great tune that one.....
