......actually invest long term in these companies? And yes I know what’s coming “ he’s a deramper blah blah blah! “. Well I’m not invested now but what I hate is people being suckered in by the traders and losing a lot of money which they probably can’t afford to lose - “well you should only invest! what you can afford to lose they will sprout “. So when 401 results came out in 2015 I invested 5000 which by the time the ex-crook directors were given the push it was worth £40. If I had held and sold on the spike would have had 200 minus charges. The ramp, the spike, the fall has followed the same pattern this time. Not saying for one second the company circumstances are the same - just saying be careful. Traders are making £50-100 grand easily minimum whilst small guys are taking big losses. I await the “he is bitter comments , sore loser, deramper” - the list will go on. There is very little info for “do your own research” - so don’t fall for that one.

No I don't think you're a de-ramper at all, and you highlight well the pitfall of this platform. But I suppose it is useful to "DYOR". For example, I personally wouldn't invest in much at all outside biotech, because that's my area and I am capable of doing my own research. If you have knowledge or skills in, for example, engineering or minerals, obviously that'd be a good area to invest in more comfortably.
I'm certainly invested for long term with new CEO with masses of credibility and integrity, exciting programme of work, real progress and important achievements happening now. Not interested in the old guard or stale old ex-investors who can't see the quality and potential now.
even worse ... 401 was developed by the now CEO ......... paraded as a success ... now in charge by default
june 2018 .......... the Glory Days
Dr Suzy Dilly, CEO of ValiSeek, commented: "The external validation from both the Advisory Board and wider industry, has provided increased confidence that VAL401, the product, has a valued and needed place in the market. These developments are a valuable addition to our licensing package, clarifying the final stages of clinical testing towards commercial use."
2018 BIO International Convention
Dr Dilly attended the BIO International Convention in Boston during the week of 4 June 2018. Recognised as the largest partnering and exhibition event in the industry, BIO is an opportunity to access global biotech and pharma companies. Presenting the VAL401 project, Dr Dilly held meetings to progress commercial conversations further with current and future partners, as well as presenting the project to new audiences.
Wondergoal - good luck! I and many others were promised that by your new boss back then. Went a bit tits.....!

rhubarbmk2 - a very civilised and respected response. Wish you well.
Oh - and if you don't feel fully versed in some of the tech, there are loads of friendly posters here - easy to spot the genuine ones - who will always be happy to add some meat to the bones if you have genuine questions that you'd like to ask pal.
Might have misread it - but slightly sarky maybe? Enlighten me!
No - I wasn't being sarcastic pal; I genuinely mean't that. I mean't to say that if you had scientific questions, then folk like Grace below are always friendly and helpful - and very knowledgeable. They tell you the pros and the cons.
That is the Point .,... you question it with positive motive, so select what you consider adds weight and just ignore the rest
now i do this with the other share all the time ........... direct comparisons between other results I can i prove from other research that the science is spot on ...
How you can do that with Val is beyond me ............ everything contradicts
Gotcha rhubarb. Hard to work out at times. Apologies. All the best.
To get back to BB's original question I would say that AIM is not really a good vechile for investment.
The key issue being higher suseptablity to market manipulation.
As such AIM attracts people looking for big rewards on big risks, but really that is gambling rather than investing. So the risk increases the longer you hold the stock as drop is more likely the longer you are holding.
That said genuine investors will be looking to establish if there is genuine quality. If so, AIM offers a genuine chance to make big money as the company will still have a lot of growth potential and it will take years to maximise that potential.
The key is to be honest with yourself and know if you are a gambler or an investor.
Why have I lost on Val? Because I was the former when I invested.
