Unbelievable.
So - contrary to the expectations of, well, everyone - the SC have ruled against UKOG, and essentially ruled retrospectively too.
Never mind the effect on UKOG, this will have a devastating effect on the UK Onshore oil industry as a whole, as the eco-warriors will no doubt use this ruling to take all other Onshore Operators to Court to get them to do retrospective EIA's on this basis.
Utterly stupid.
ZYX098,
The implications are not limited to onshore projects:
Campaigners claim the judgement could also affect ongoing legal challenges of new projects in the UK including Rosebank oil field and the proposed coal mine in Whitehaven in Cumbria. (from the BBC's article)
That's the same BBC article that said HH had six Wells on it?
These Campaigners need a dose of reality stuffed up where the sun doesn't shine.
Or left on an Island for a week with absolutely nothing produced by using, or includes Hydrocarbons.
Like food (fertiliser, harvesting, processing, transport), water (needs filtration and transportation), clothes (even 100% cotton needs O&G in it's manufacture and transport), or power (renewables like PV & Wind need hydrocarbons in the manufacture & transport).
They can build their own wooden shelter, but they cannot use any tools which contain metals to cut or join together any of the building materials.
I suppose they could use Hemp to tie logs together, but they'd probably just try and smoke it instead.
Adrian,
Sorry to disappoint, it has zero effect for me, I don't work UK lol.... and it isn't really something new, the wind down has been actively going on for the last 2-3 years.
More like times almost up for YOU lol,,,, TICKKKKKKKKKKKK tockkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Adrian,
Showing what a thoroughly nasty example of a human being you are again, so no surprises there.
Odd assertion to make, since all the posters you mention have consistently been on the side of the Oil Industry (you know, the industry we work in, unlike you - a fire extinguisher salesman) and against the likes of your beloved Sarah, XR and JSO.
It won't affect me either, as I've only worked on Overseas projects for many years.
Of course the immediate effect on you is to increase your already massive losses on UKOG.
But it will ultimately affect everyone in the UK in more ways than one, as the ultimate effect will be to increase our energy bills, decrease tax income and make us more reliant on Overseas sources for the Gas and Oil that we will continue to need for many years to come.
Adrian, the rns states that in any event the site wouldnt produce more than 500bpd so far from the gusher your hero ramped. This is a get out of jail card for salmon slacks and he can like you, blame others for his shambolic leadership. Ponzi company ramped by very very sad people afflicted with Stockholm syndrome. Nasty words from nasty people who've got their comeuppance. You got caught tryinf to catcy that falling knife. #foolonthehill indeed
Fully agree ZYX he's a Dreamer. Nothing but a dreamer
DontSayGreen 'They should bring back the plank lol.'
You're already here.
I can’t believe that the FOTH is still here, peddling the same repetitive nonsense, attacking anyone that disagrees with his bile, but it’s obvious, that he must be well under water, as every time he plans a trade, followed by the usual rampfest, the price goes down…Oops! He continues to slander and belittle other posters and already has a lifetime ban from LSE but regularly sneaks back on unnoticed with a different alias, until he gets abusive and the find out it’s him again. I don’t know why LSE hasn’t taken out some sort of court injunction against him already?
As Adrian in the latest of his innumerable incarnations knows but deliberately ignores, there's a massively stark difference between being anti liars, cheats, conmen and incompetents... and being anti fossil fuels.
Sold out….twice they have turned my hundreds into pennies.
When I first looked at this it was over 8p per share. It dropped but I was convinced by all the bulls*** that the company had a rosy future. I bought in at 1.4p feeling at the time it could not possibly go any lower. It amazes me how incompetent the BOD have been and still they are employed.
GW71,
Showing your age with that Supertramp reference - as am I with getting it ;)
Supertramp, eh? Here's a Lyin' Steve cover version:
Take a look at my OilCo
It's the only one I got
Not much of an OilCo
Never seem to pump a lot
Take a jumbo across the water
Turkey not America
Smell the oil in North West Asia
I'm hoping its going to come true
But there's not a lot I can do
Could I drain your ISAs for giggles
Punters dear, punters dear
I'll leave enough room to wiggle
'Cause I'm still a millionaire
I'm a winner, I'm a sinner
Do you want my autograph
I'm a loser, what a joker
I'm playing my jokes upon you
While there's nothing better to do
(I didn't need to amend the last verse at all...)
I see the banned poster, commonly known as FOTH has been justifiably removed again…
Maybe fools gold is more appropriate for this company ! But the FOTH...he's raving mad pal
GWILLIAMS71 :-
Iron Pyrite is worth more - it contains Lithium and is a source of Sulphur Dioxide !!
Fool's gold was also a banger back in the day...
