it should go up now hopefully - unless the australians start getting defensive about their bugs -
Well, there's some good news from Australia, unless you're an Ozzie bug that is. And since some products are already selling there the name will be known and the take up on the newly approved products may be quick.
last results commentary and analysis suggested limited growth / saturation in UK market, which at that time was predominant cash generator. Need to wait and see news on non-UK, and especially US opportunity progressing with FDA - that would be the game changer but it won't be next week - FDA is a protracted process. I banked 1/3 of mine at £1.50 last year, but am still lumped on for a while yet.
one of the most solid stock around... can't see the reason why big investors and fund have not rushed to get in.... anyone knows what could be/is the next big event for this stock, please?
thanks. would like to hear of the 'new products' mentioned earlier this year by Tristel.

hi Rudolph.... thanks. good luck
They are ex-div today (excluding divi) If you sell you'll still get the divi as the trade will take 2days to settle and tomorrow is the record day i.e. whoever is on record tomorrow as the holder gets the divi. That's why the price has dropped today.
if I buy today do I get the dividend?... If I sell today do I lose the dividend?... any experts, please?
.... I wouldn't mind some of that.... I can see this share going a long way
Duly ignored Jolly. Excellent update today with a special divi and exceeding market expectations after the last poor update. Hats off to Francis Liz and Paul for getting things back on track so quickly. Looks to me as if the last poor performance is now a wipe and we are back on the front foot. A very pleased polished and sterilised knife here possibly gleaming from today's Tristel update.
Trading update and special dividend For the year ended 30 June 2016 Tristel will record turnover in excess of £17 million (2015: £15.3 million) and pre-tax profit (before share-based payments and unrealised currency gains) of at least £3.1 million (2015: £2.6 million). Both turnover and pre-tax profit are ahead of market expectations. http://www.investegate.co.uk/tristel-plc--tstl-/rns/trading-update--special-dividend---acquisition/201607210700077820E/
Looking forward to a strong trading update on Thursday. Also an Open Day http://www.investegate.co.uk/tristel-plc--tstl-/rns/shareholder-open-day---notice-of-trading-update/201605250700131737Z/ (Ticket)availability is limited so please contact the Company via tristel@walbrook.com or call 01638 721 500 and press 1 for customer services to reserve an entry ticket. From the half-yearly report back in February "We are pleased to report strong half-on-half profits growth, which has translated into an increase in cash and a substantial increase in the interim dividend. Overseas sales accounted for 36% of total revenue and increased by 20% during the period. Our international expansion continues with many regulatory approvals awaited, not only in healthcare markets in which we already sell, but also in countries in which we have no presence. This includes the United States. "Two products have been selected for our approach to the US market, and we are in dialogue with the FDA in preparation for a full regulatory approval submission during 2016." sp recovering well from that Brexit inspired panic!
overvalued imv..ev/ebit horrid, this strange rns on reg challenges and so much froth ..ignore my opinions
This in view of the fall of the £, hence overseas earnings will count for more, and sales are likely to get a similar boost???
Down 8% today, nearly 13% since the vote. BUT..."Overseas sales up 20% to £2.9m (2014: £2.4m), representing 36% of total sales" - this from the February report. Granted it's a small company, but with overseas sales shooting, and maybe even more if licensing works out in the US (why should it not?) I would have thought this is a buying opportunity. Any thoughts??
Delayed trade 14:42 today - 50k @ 115p moved the sp up encouragingly. Total of £57.5k.
In the long term, I do not think it will worry TSTL too much. We are becoming an international company
I'm going, and I find it a tad perverse that the SP takes a dive when the company announce also that they will be releasing their latest accounts on the same day. I cannot imagine that investors are invited to attend to be told that things are not going to well. Any thoughts??
what are peoples thoughts on how the EU referendum will effect the stock price? I am looking to buy in. I think the company looks in good shape, and if things with trading in America come through, then i think the share could start moving up again quite nicely....however, as some of their trading is with France, EU in general and home trading in the UK, the EU referendum could be a sticky point for some time.
I think that it is purely market sentiment. There were raging optimists on board It will take a bit of time but I'm sure it will edge back up to around 150 at the end of this year. Be comforted that the boss man buys when it dips below 105. A very safe share, IMHO
Please help, I am going nuts with calculating the future value of this share and every formula I use I get the same value of £1.46. Can anyone explain what will hold this back, if the staff share payments were not made this year then I calculated that Tristel would be currently at £1.56 a share. What have I missed that the market has factored in? I cannot share the formula unfortunately, but the formula has not been wrong for me so far in 2016 when I learnt it, made money on Glen, AEO, Laird and the formula has picked up Tristel, NMC and Barclays as the next risers.
+9.22%....Looks like the chairrman has bought for a VERY good reason!
wow!!!... Clear sign the sp is going straight to before the fall!
