What a cracking company this is. Most of all it delivers on its promises. Well done BOD. Onwards and upwards.
Luvly!
I will also be interested to see how the tie up with Mobile ODT is going, (RNS 3rd July 2017, "Strategic Investment" http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=TSTL&ArticleCode=o7yj8qli&ArticleHeadline=Strategic_investment) when they next update us. They seem to be taking off - and we supply the disinfectant. This is their news page, on which of course we get a mention or two: http://www.mobileodt.com/news
Tristel plc (AIM: TSTL), the manufacturer of infection prevention products, announces that a study conducted at the Khoo Tech Puat Hospital, Singapore, has concluded that the Tristel Wipe has comparable efficacy to a world leading peracetic acid high-level disinfectant (Rapicide; Cantel Medical, New Jersey, USA), and provides significant other advantages to a hospital.... ...the study concludes that Rapicide and the Tristel Wipe are statistically equivalent in terms of efficacy. In addition to being comparable with Rapicide the study identifies other significant advantages of the Tristel Wipe. These benefits are rapid turnaround of the nasendoscope (2-3 minutes for Tristel versus 20 minutes for Rapicide) which means the clinic can see more patients in a day with fewer nasendoscopes; Tristel's safety from a health standpoint, and the Tristel Wipe's portability which means that it can be easily taken to the emergency department or to the wards. This is important as even though most ENT departments are out-patient areas, frequently in-patients carry MRSA, vancomycin-resistant Enterococci (VRE), and even tuberculosis, and need to have a nasendoscopy. The Tristel Wipe can easily be taken to them to enable the examination. Paul Swinney, CEO, comments: "We are pleased to see the publication in a peer-reviewed journal of yet another study comparing our Wipe with a leading peracetic acid high-level disinfectant - Cantel's Rapicide product. Peracetic acid is the most widely used high-level disinfectant chemistry in Europe and probably the United States also. The results affirm the key advantages of our Wipes over alternative chemistries and disinfection methods. These advantages are the level and speed of kill and the capability of our Wipe System to be deployed anywhere within a healthcare setting without the need for power, water and space. This is the thirty first peer-reviewed and published scientific paper featuring Tristel products - a body of evidence of our products' attributes that forms one of our Company's key strengths."" 1. It's good to know we have the best product on the market. Equivalent efficacy and much more practical. 2. Just the kind of news we need as launch onto the US market hopefully approaches.
Good to get an indication of this half's results. Solid:12% min yoy. US still on target. This has been a great long-term holding.
This might have something to do with the price drop http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/463789/share-sleuth%3A-be-wary-excessive-executive-pay
Do we know what’s caused today’s increase? I’ve had a scan and can’t see any releases / tips etc. Just a correction for the recent dip? Cheers
Indeed, but given recent highs (albeit spikes, not sustained over three months) is £3.50 that ambitious? Also, nothing in there about profit, solely share price!
Interesting share price targets which would need to be met for the directors to benefit from the scheme, bodes well for anticipating approval from the USA for their expansion. GLA
Hi Pimpin, Did you invest? Just a gut feeling that the fall is done and 300p is on its way. The EDA declaration of entry is but a few weeks away. I hope that boosts the SP as it is a staging post of the potential here.
Thanks Fallingknife - thats some useful background. I'm in the midst of doing my research on this one as it looks interesting.
Afternoon pimpin. I think the currency boost had spooked some investors who didn;t want to end up cleaned out on this one next year. Buys are at full ask so it wouldn't surprise me to see a move to 275p or 280p on the ask in short order. The fact that there is no special divi after two years of having one might also have been a bellweather for some holders. I am not selling any. There is the EDA submission withina month which should set the clock ticking again for approval late April/early May for enrty to the States. France, a notoriously difficult market for non-nationals has just got approval and there are expansion plans in India and Japan. I am looking forward to the dividend just before xmas and will use it to buy more shares. Today seems a good entry point to me.
Doesnt explain todays drop though? Should be quite the opposite you would have expected.
...in IC yesterday, again. Used to be such a nice quiet share! Under the radar. All this yo-yoing is probably just that it's now on the radar.
solid results, very positive reporting coverage and down 8% with a massive spread to boot...?
Still bullish. https://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/tips-ideas/2017/10/03/delay-to-tristel-s-us-launch/ GLA
"Make America great again". Really? Dare I ask if the US is becoming like the Chinese: a huge market, but dangerous and selfish to deal with???
Been quite a rollercoaster. That's not usual for Tristel. Think I wish I could learn to take some profits when things race away. When something's unduly high something else is always unduly low. But I'm too greedy and can't get the hang of it! It's like when the sun shines I always think it will carry on for ever and I can do the garden tomorrow :( In one way I'm glad though: I don't want to be a trader. That's why I'm in TSTL, for years now also.
Glad to see a bounce back today. Suspect fall earlier in week was due to profit taking and DESTINY PHARMA floating on market on Monday. Long term it could provide some competition to TSTL with both battling to enter the US market. Long term holder here (in since under 50p) and have traded/sold some on way up - will continue to keep my core holding. IMO if successful entry obtained to USA we will be taken out at some stage. GLA.
Glad to see some sensible peeps are buying on the dip
All I can find is profit taking after a good run or maybe a leak of inside info. It has recovered somewhat now.
I haven't been able to find anything even remotely resembling a reason for it - market makers having some fun at our expense?
