Something maybe brewing!
I think brewing may be the wrong word.
Simply buying on the back of research into the company I would hope.
TOOP is a buy imo based on recent information provided:-
a) Oberon Investments increasing their shareholding to in excess of 11.40% (from 6.28%)
b) Resolutions passed at the AGM - minor but positive
c) Trading update stated 'monthly orders are continuing to grow' plus 'gross margins are materially higher'
d) Also stated that 'monthly cash burn has been reduced by 60%' adding 'company moving towards positive cash flow'
e) New contract wins as announced across Q1 2021
It will take little to move TOOP from £3m valuation to a significantly higher number.
@roleybirkin - yes agreed!
Hence i am heavily invested in Toop!
GLA
Resolutions passed at the AGM - minor but positive
Which resolution was positive for share holders?
Reappointing Andrew Hollingworth with his 25 years of experience in Telecoms is one positive I see investrip
Having the AGM signed off without any dissenting shareholders is another positive in my mind.
Let's allow Andrew the space to drive revenues and the business forward.
Takeover perhaps???
Andys had what, 5 years? to drive revenues... In that time he's done
£7.5 Million of Revenue
A Net loss of £8.41 Million.
How do you spend £16 Million to make £7.5? I dont get it.
On top of that he's
****ged of BT.
Then acquired a BT Reseller
Done multiple dilutions
Seen a share price from 9.25p to 0.08p
Allowed the directors of an acquisition to get out before it explodes or as rampers claim, cash in debt for equity.
Done 7 equity placings to raise cash.
Andys been out of Talktalk for some time, yet ramper's continue to bang out about his heritage of 25 years in the industry. The last five have done nothing but lose money. Not a great heritage.
Is it time to ask whether he can run a small telco that needs to be nimble in the same way he ran a division of a billion dollar turn over business? Running a division, and running a business are two different things.
Stretchum, This wont get taken over, theres a lot of Telcos in the market at the moment available that bill their own customers, are profitable and have a good management team, Toople for what it is, and given the way the market works wont get acquired.
They no longer bill, preferring to take upfront comms on BT deals which will at least increase revenue for the short term
No long own the customer, BT do
Still lose stupid amounts of cash
Please stop ramping without proper sources
Investrip, it is not beyond, even your narrow bandwidth, a company like toopke could well be a target. Very low mrk cap decent customer base, growing market.. Etc etc.. Oberon are not buying on your advice thankfully...
Who would buy it?
What examples of other deals can you use as a comparison?
Let's indulge your logic for a bit and see how it plays out?
Redbox... Whys it bitter and twisted or warped, when someone uses examples and evidence to show facts, yet when someone randomly posts these, its fine?
Takeover perhaps???
Something maybe brewing!
Ticker just moved up !
missilee has posted about tick ups in price for the past few months, it was .098 then.
Isn't it amazing despite missilee being down, they are so so positive when others buy shares? They brought 14 Million (or so they claimed) at 0.0898, and its apparently been ticking up since?
New investors here need to see both sides, not just the blind ramping.... just because you don't like the skeletons in the closet, and want to ramp it, just ignore me if you wish, il still sleep at night..
Investrip, your question "what examples of other deals can you use as a comparison?" Sir if you check RNS (on TOOP ) date 19 Feb 20 headline COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION, i believe this will be a very good example of what you are looking for! Good luck with your research i hope this will help. regards BBB.
Big Boy, The suggest is Toople will get taken over, not acquired... so the acquisition of DMSL is irrelevant. Fancy trying again?
Il try again without the spelling mistakes
Big Boy, The suggestion is Toople will get taken over, not acquire others... so the acquisition of DMSL is irrelevant. Fancy trying again?
Investrip, pick up the phone, call Oberon investment, tell them to stop buying.. See what they say... This will double next week. Dyor as always.
I mean that doesnt answer the question at all does it?
Show me an example of a small little PLC being taken private...
It simple isnt going to happen,
Say it was true, the share price rises on speculation and the mcap to what, 5 Million, 10 Million?
for a business that turns over £4 or 5 Million, loses money, has stopped using the hugely hyped up software it claimed was a game changer and doesn't own its customers anymore because its reseller BT...
Then compare that to recent deals in the same market. PBX Hosting this week sold for £4.5 Million, has 32,000 users on their hosted platform, profitable and has 100s of resellers doing the work for them.
Now ask yourself which you'd pay £5 million for?
Banding around take over comments is ramping at best, fraud at worst.
When your called out, you reply with DYOR.... thats not a get out for ramping.
Investrip, having said that why would Oberon Investments want to invest and more or less double their holding? I invested here on Friday and looking for a mid term hold. Has this got legs? Cheers
Wareing... short term, id say you'l make money, they need to spike it prior to any dilution..
Why would Oberon Investments invest?
Simple.
Oberon Investments or Baskerville Capital plc as they should be known, are represented by their financial adviser Novum Securities...
From the Baskerville Admission document.
Novum, as the Company’s independent financial adviser, has provided formal advice to the
Independent Director regarding the Acquisition (of Oberlon)
Who's Novum Securities... Well they would be the broker for Toople too.
Who do you think brought the 1 Billion shares from the Carters from on the cheap? Line the dots up. Oberlon
Who gets paid for another fund raise? Novum do...
Is their powers to do a fund raise.. yes following the AGM
Do they need to do a fund raise... yes still losing mega money
Do they want to do a fund raise below the level of the last one (0.11p) nope, hence let's release some TR1 documents, get the rampers ramping, then boom share issue, price collapses, people stung again.
Stay in it, but when your 10 or 20% up, get out, don't hang around.
Thanks Investrip much appreciated for information. Little gutted about the potential dilution reading on their website contacts growing and costs have been reduced. I think a stop loss could be an option until we know more.
AGM approved the issuing of £4.2 Million of nominal value shares?
Nominal value of 0.0667 pence each.
6 billion shares?
Where do you go from there, as I said, sit tight, when it pumps, get out quick, dont buy more on the way up.
1972, what you are likely to see here by summer is another acquisition similar to DMSL acquisition last year. By then the share price will be a lot higher imo
As the economy reopen s expect more contract news . There has been 6 good contracts signed over the last 3 months alone
Jungmana,
In Jan you predicted 0.4p was coing soon when it was 0.14 and the ramp was on... the following day it tanked and dropped by over 50% over the next month or so
By issuing new shares for an acquisition their mcap increases but the share price stays stagnant. 0.4p is a ludicrous valuation for a business with no assets, £4 Million of turnover and £2m of losses.
Boparan restaurant group, Age UK, Toca, A specialist nationwide engineering group and 5 other good sized companies all signed up in the last 4 months. Will they do so if we were rubbish?

Toople PLC
("Toople" or the "Company")
New contract wins with leading UK business brands
Toople PLC (LSE: TOOP), a provider of bespoke telecom services to UK SMEs, is pleased to announce five new contract wins with leading UK businesses across a variety of sectors."
None of which are major wins... none of which stem the tide of the loses.
Boparan was a FTTC and voip contract... FTTC is what £40 a month per site? 10 sites... £400... £100 of GP.
TOCA... a leased line... £400, £100 of margin, Not even live yet because it said Summer 2021...
Where are these huge deals? Company changing sized deals? Winning a leased line for a new startup is not news worthy. Telcos of all sizes do that on a daily basis.
When does the share price hit 0.4p... thats a mcap of £16 million. For a business that does £4 Million of Revenue and £2m of losses..

Toople PLC
("Toople" or the "Company")
Trading update and PDMR Share Dealing
Toople PLC (LSE: TOOP), a provider of bespoke telecom services to UK SMEs, is pleased to provide the following trading update. Further to recently announced significant contract wins, monthly orders are continuing to grow and gross margins are materially higher than the pre-pandemic period. This has enabled monthly cash burn to be reduced by 60% compared with 2020 and this trend is expected to be sustained, moving the Company towards positive cash flow. The Directors believe that trading will continue to demonstrate significant progress as the current UK lockdown begins to ease and the economy moves towards the post-pandemic period.
