Cannot expect more news yet so we all have to hold and hope - after many years I am in for the real deal -whatever that turns out to be, like a few others on this Board. Just deeply fristrating!
Well done chum.
TG must be fed up how any good news he announces results in a price drop, and has done for years.
It dumbfounds me why this happens. I cannot remember how many times I have emailed my boys with messages that the time to load up their portfolio with TLOU/TOU shares had arrived. So many false new dawns.
How many hours has TG wasted on us? I fully understand his reticence to waste more - he found the Doc , or more likely , the Doc found him , they get each other and continue in harmony from what we see so fukk us!
Most of the background news was pure bad luck. TLOU was looking very healthy with the share price at 5p and rising. TG dangled a carrot for 2 years by offering us cut price options at 8c or 4.4p on TOU and TLOU on a major placing. This was a reward to faithful shareholders who'd already suffered delays in the RFP episode which I blame Kalahari and the Govt for. If we'd been the sole bidder I suspect the clause that said proposers had to have a history of supplying CBM powered electricity (cut and paste "COAL" to "CBM powered electricity" from a COAL RFP?) would not have delayed us by 18 months or more. The GOVT stepped back to get the process on track and mistrust between the 3 parties ensued - every word or phrase being scrutenised and challenged - the kiss of death when we planned to be transporting containers of Natural Gas by road within very few years.
That project , by both proposers , was axed and it had become a more elaborate solution of merging power into the grid at Serowe! Long term a much better business but Covid, Putin , world economy has worked against us since. But the biggest hurdle before that was dewatering at Lesedi taking longer than expected , compounded by world events where lockdown in particular could have reduced TLOU to ashes.
I am expecting TG to announce news of the the TX line being fully connected , generators installed , and commissioning of the switching gear imminent. Renaissence! The share price being fed Formula and putting on weight rapidly for a few months and many proud parents on here. 11p for the Pension Fund holdings in 2025?
Madness, utter madness. You guys are all living in lah lah land.
If this was such an important project, why has Govt done everything possible to delay CBM progressing there?
Is TG the most persevering and dedicated CEO in living history or has his star magic turned to silica?
Private sector contractors and suppliers in Botswana are getting squeezed almost out of existence due to Govt lack of cash to keep up with their payments obligations. I cant prove it to you on a message board - but it is reality down there.
Blame Kalahari - you have no grounds to say this other than personal opinion - which you are entitled to. Explain your logic please and maybe it informs us better.
And while on that, you mentioned in previous post pricing of $30 - where does that come from and how does it translate to Revenue potential? Provide assumptions to your maths ie selling price per kilowatt hour of electricity generated, then sold, with assumption as to hours or quantity of dispatchable energy sold.
Bold sweeping comments are easy to make - we have all been doing it for years here - is time for the rubber to hit the road, so lets focus on detail and verifiable information.
Every countries finances have been stretched over the last decade or so .. but that doesn’t mean they don’t pay for services rendered … where has your knowledge come from that other businesses are either being squeezed or not being paid at All .
I doubt if you are involved in any business operating in Botswana or have direct contact with the treasury in Botswana … so sorry if I find your view so what unreliable.. You really think Tlou haven’t addressed these issue over the last 10 years or so … if they are issues ..
Now get back to filling shelves in B and Q Bradford .. There’s a good boy!
Lordy, what can the government do that will speed things up?
Like us , they are totally reliant on TG getting dewatering down , installing Tx lines and generation gear, and not going broke in the meantime!
Lefoko did all he could by giving us an official PPA in the middle of lockdown. A PPA Tlou were never worried about , but it might have encouraged people who like Sekaname's RFP for up to 100Mw!
How futile was achieving that? TG know selling power is the least of his problems!
Kalahari wanted that 100Mw order because they needed finance to to get started and thought it would help!
TG knew he could produce on a very low budget , but was seduced into raising the goal to a turn key operation!
I don't know what TG's unit of power is! He used to measure it in joules and currencies in dollars (US or AUD?) and confused an already complicated set of figures. Hence I call them TG units! $10-$12 in Australia, $30 in Botswana at the time he was getting started! Joules, MW/hrs, USD or AUD would have tested me before my short term memory problems!
How long have diamonds not been worth a fortune? I simply do not believe their price that the Govt is struggling with their 50% ownership of Debswana! I cannot see why the Govt would back TLOU until they can be certain it is going to succeed!
It is not certain they will - but 99% of us think they will , and the 1% who do not are thickos! The timing is the issue and TG has kept us safe with his frugality! Big Govt loans could have been the end of us!
Why 99%? Because you'd be a nutter to follow TLOU unless you thought they will succeed!
Tony chose Botswana to beat Oz's $12 , whilst undercutting the Bots import price of $30 , if you don't know that you must be thick BOTS! That was the starting point and justification for project #3 in Botswan. The amount of gas was next , the shortage in South Africa and Southern Africa was another. Here's another egg to suck, Granny
Lots of gas , lots of demand for electricity? What more do you want??? We'll see how the Govt react once Serowe is receiving Lesedi power!! I think it will be electric!
More winni quality i see - back week was it old chum?
You dont know so i could not possibly know. And Doncaster and Bradford and stacking shelves - my own my what a class conscious twat you are. Are you proud of yerself - go ask yer Mum for validation.
Well Bot’s how do you know then? .. as usual you avoid answering the question .. by the way mum says hi. She hopes you are well and don’t have a bad back from a carrying everybody on the chatroom
Https://www.sundaystandard.info/suppliers-owed-p1-3-billion-in-payments-due-to-gabs-system-failure/
Maybe i read newspapers; maybe I know people in business in Gabs/ Bots; maybe I like in Gabs /Bots myself; maybe I chat on whatsapp to friends or family or both there; maybe maybe maybe. The only thing that isnt maybe - is you and Clooless are childish and dull and pretty pathetic if truth be told. At least with Brad, we know what we are going to get - so if you want somebody to justify his opinions and statements, go start there.
PS share price continues to underperform, same as management team, same as the cheerleaders on this site. How many more years before you realise how completely suckered you and yer mates have been.
PPS I love the abuse you give me. It makes me relevant; it means you guys focus on me rather than the utter pathetic non-performance of the company and share price of the company you all promote and waffle endlessly about. TG is great; Bots is great; the Doc and BPOPS wont let the company fail; .... and all the while .... after how many years now .... the share price is still in the Lower Basement / or as Brad would say Bargain Bucket territory.
PPPS your investment is performing, and always has performed, utter desperately. And still you idiots wax lyrically about it.
OK my break over now, need to get back to stacking the shelves.
The Oh knowledgeable one continues to spout drivel.. Its cute that I am constantly on your mind BOTS I must have really got to you 🤣🤣🤣..
Maybe you speak to business owners in GABS/BOTS, that seems like you are going to try and blame someone else for your totally accurate predictions 🤣🤣🤣 (one of which I continue to highlight below)...
Hope it's nice and sunny in Doncaster today princess 😘
"In short, this current fund raise from sources in Botswana is by no means going to be easy to arrange".
BOTS_PROJECT 28th Feb 2024
"Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF) have increased their shareholding to 16.63%"
TLOU RNS 26th March 2024
My days are not complete unless I am taking abuse from all the clever, long-term supportive shareholders here who continue to hold hands and sing kumbaya while sitting round the campfires. Their cult like adoration of the progress here is a thing of beauty.
Break over again.
No abuse, just a reminder of your predictions which turned out to be wayyy off the mark.. l

Here the thing Bot’s if you had a balance view of all things Tlou . You might a get your point across better. However your desire to drag Tlou it’s management , strategy it’s offering in fact all things Tlou down with every post means . You really don’t have an interest in the success of the business .. but would prefer that it crashed and burn.. Not quite sure why? but must have something to do with losing money along with face in amongst your high net-worth. Botswana’s why else would you spend so long and so much time on it ?
Bots has obviously been burnt bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 why else would you spend more time posting tripe on here than actual holders. I like him here keeps the board alive and easy to point to predictions he has been making which have been way off the mark......
See here is the thing Winni. You guys dont have a balanced view of Tlou since you are pretty clueless about reality of life on the ground there. Trotting out your view of the opportunity there from a western eyes mindset means you keep trotting out the same old rubbish.
Cloo - try and show some originality. I used to thing Brad was the sad case here. At least he offers a point of view even if i seldom agree with it.
We went down that road, waste of time.. You have nothing to offer and have made me wonder if you are able to dress yourself or need a chaperone...
Case in point your famous and only prediction below 🤣🤣🤣
"In short, this current fund raise from sources in Botswana is by no means going to be easy to arrange".

2024 is the year and I have traded 3 times at 2.024p for frequent trader rates.
Spread was 1.89 to 2.2p so will show as sells because the mean is 2.45p and good old IG beat that by a long way on their fixed price quotes.
2.045p is the mean
As confidently predicted my buys appear as sells!
They are nincompoops to use the mean of the spread as the fulcrum!!!
How often does a trade sell for much more that the required price???? Hardly ever????
So 1.89p sell might achieve 1.9p but sure as hell it won't reach 2.045p ?
But selling , expecting 2.2p from the spread , and achieving 2.024p is highly probably - which is why I use fixed price quotes to stop that!
More quality content from Cloo - that would be 50-plus times he posted the same runny mess. Nappy pants for him then.
Doesn't take much to impress you then BOTS, simple minds and all that 😉... Anyway I'm the only one that actually likes having you here, don't get cheeky to your only fan princess
