Rock appears every so often and pushes a bit of doom, gloom and general fear. IIRC there was a period where it tag teamed with another account that was another short word with a 7 on the end. Ended up accidentally replying on the wrong account and getting outed.
Highly likely to be part of the same gang / person as the others.
As it says when you post...

I just realized that may have come across as in about you rock, especially with the name rock and things crawling out of ....Just to clarify it wasn't, more a comment on the crazies that come out and how much better it's been without some recently š
Only thing I fear is the constant things crawling out when the SP drops
But I have no evidence except a falling share price
My fear is these numbers have leaked?
The AGM has not moved and they have always issued a AGM Trading Statement before the AGM.
Given the AGM is in Juneā¦ so the end of the next trading quarterā¦ it is highly unlikely there will be a trading update. Those LTHās will know that past AGMās are just a legal processā¦ lasting a few minutesā¦ Iāve said it before and will say it againā¦ Lower your expectationsā¦
Donāt see many analysts worrying about the debt, the debt is serviceable and can be reduced if desired now FCF+, plus direction of interest rates is down. Any spin off/minority investment and the debt becomes even more negligible
If we donāt get an agm trading update that speaks volumes for me
That debt is a major concern and it needs refinancing
I am not usually into that sort of thing but it does feel like we are at the point where we could potentially use a private investors association. Easier said than done.
Well theyād better hope there will be a dirty great big cherry on top of that THG pie eventually as I canāt see a long queue of job offers for the Board if there isnāt in the not too distant future!!!
To everyone and the Board of THG
Two years and zero increase in shareholder value.
We are all expecting meaningful performance, no more pie in the sky.
Considering itās the Chairmanās primary job to look after shareholder interests does anyone know WTAF Chris Maguire is taking about in terms of the good things heās heard in relation to Alistair Crane.
āPower resides in the hands of ordinary people; most, however, are simply too lazy to exercise it.ā
KBYK - 2024.
Itās āThe Clubā and itās been that way for hundreds of years!! Everything is served to significantly benefit āThe Clubā and not the majority. Until people stop voting for the āOld Guardā main political parties or parties who try and present themselves as real alternatives but either have similar policies in reality (or sell themselves out to form a coalition!!!), nothing will change or until full blown civil unrest or WW3 - whichever comes first!!!!! Have a good day š
1pencil - āI wasn't aware Matt had so much influence over Fed policyā
Fair point but he does have influence on delivering the long overdue strategy update and to stabilise all the uncertainty we have floating around. Including the important business decisions here in recent years like Myprotein rebrand and Ingenuity pivot. All seem to have failed usā¦ so far anyway
Good afternoon skrfn
"He talks about his disinterest in business travel even to the Capital to not disrupt his precious routine"
Whereas I appreciate this was linked to what he claimed was severe OCD in the same article he was pictured on a private jet with the THG Board members flying to Magaluf. Then we have the Dubai trip you mention and if you also search the internet you will probably find that in the last week of May he seems to travelled all the way to Edinburgh to be a guest speaker at the Scottish Edge Awards, an event sponsored by Sir Tom Hunter and the Bank of Scotland.

Investing101, agree, bit of FOMO too caught one or two out this week..
Got a link yesimabeliever?
Interesting comment on linked in by Chris Maguire who has his finger on the pulse across NW business. Desperately in need to some significant client wins
āIām hearing good things about Alistair Crane, who was appointed chairman of THG Ingenuity in January. One of the first things he did was hire Richard Ward as CEO and my spy tells me heās making a big differenceā
I think eventually he will be ousted by the 65% club if we don't see SOTP realised within their timeframe.
The times piece last weekend got me thinking about his Dubai Investor trip last year. At the time I think a lot of speculation was a middle east backed MBO was a reason for the trip but we know that can't have been the case because it ultimately never happened. He talks about his disinterest in business travel even to the Capital to not disrupt his precious routine, so the trip to Dubai must have been for something significant - most likely to retain his position and to reassure QIA and the like he is still the man to steer the ship out of the current mess.
The clock is ticking and hopefully we get some change from the status quo soon.
Donāt buy into the narrative that MM has no incentive to drive shareholder value. He seems to enjoy good relationships with his long term backers, and will be desperate to drive returns for them/his employees/his family. I am sure if the long term IIās think he has his eye off the ball on long term shareholder at any stage he will be removed. Letās see where support is at the AGM, I suspect still rock solid in the 65%.
