Feb -14p.
6 months later - 14p.
When I suggested this would be the case, I was shot down by the usual rampy twats: red, add, pad, fort, bubble, slug, novice, step forward!
Now everyone can clearly see who was right (it was me, before they try to twist it). Logging out for 6 more months. Will still be in the dumps next Feb, but the rampy twats above will tell you it's going to sell tomorrow. Don't be fooled.
Good.....ta ra in six months (or even longer if you can....)
And give yourself a good tap on the soldiers, well done.
:)
Stack high your 14p prediction is a moment in time stamped for posterity, what will you do now, sell up ?
All of us GLTH have a much higher target of at least 80p to £1 that’s when I will even look to sell. You may be right today but in a few months/years we will be right with all the moons ever so slowly aligning
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!
No chance of 80-100p here Novice.
Another high profile murder today. The country is again becoming uninvestable.
I certainly would be uneasy about moving out there if I was Scott. Ballsy.
Bozi. You clearly haven't read our resident experts views on the turmoil in ecuador.
It's just tourist related.
Once the holiday season is over, 80p is nailed on.
Novice is never wrong.
Bozi, from what I gather it's some gangland battling between main drug dealers. Ironically, it's the export side... eg the Colombian's that are unhappy with some politicians. Bulk of Ecuador is absolutely fine, it's just drug cartels fighting it out as they've had their brown bag brigade disrupted... which happens with every Election or every 4 years.
Ecuador like Colombia and majority of SA is heavily dictated by the cocaine trade that all these countries 'openly' do. The world needs the white powder apparently!
I agree 80p or 100p not to be expected here. 79p possible though.
Fortissimo. your obviously not aware that the incumbent presidents brother in law, stands accused of being in the pocket of these cartels. and by definition the president is also taking back handers. also its widely reported that the mafia type gangs have heavily infiltrated all government departments.
its also heavily reported that kidnapping and extortion of prominent Ecuadorian citizens is becoming common practice.
I strongly suggest that before you continue to dismiss the problem as a couple of gangs fighting over drugs. you do some research.
if you look back over my response to quads claiming it was a tourist thing, you will see my documentation to back up what im saying.
you will find its exactly the same as I was saying last April, when met with ridicule.
Fortissimo, click on any link, corruption in ecuador. not just a couple of gangs. wishful thinking does not alter facts
Most alarming of all, the Albanian mafia is alleged to have coopted members of Lasso’s inner circle. In January, the digital media outlet La Posta published a report based on a leaked police intelligence document attesting to an investigation into the possible mafia ties of several top government appointees. Two police generals were subsequently caught on tape discussing closing the investigation into the allegations in order to protect the president.
Fortisimo. just the findings of another major report. hopefully after reading my last couple of posts you will conduct some research before posting.
Corruption allegations have also swirled around Ecuador’s justice and security system. Last year, the US withdrew visas from high-ranking officers of Ecuadorian state security forces, alleged to be linked to drug trafficking, as well as several judges and lawyers.
Lizarazo said graft has penetrated the police, military, the judiciary and even the executive,
Even the words most corrupted and violent country has its day... Ignore the nonsense posted here Ecuador will do what it needs to do after all look at the Colombian reputation and look at the reality

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!
Actually Bozi, I am waiting for 200p as this has increased in so much value recently.... happy to wait as long as possible too
I agree novice. some of the unresearched posts on here leave a lot to be desired. fort obviously posted the first thing that came into his head.
as you say onwards and upwards. 80p by xmas. or even better bbg £2 sounds good. very achievable
I think 200p unlikely but like your bullishness. For anyone wanting to take the risk on Alpala without the crucial elevator/decline drill data for block caving... they'll expect that risk to be factored into the price eg... big discount.
Bozi... Brazil mining and international commerce with major Super majors has been up and down but they are still there and they are still doing exports as are Peru, Chile and others.
It's very sad but I'm afraid to tell you it's par for the course in these regions as below link shows. Ecuador is actually way way better than bulk of SA countries. But politics is very different over there to what it is over here. They shoot you dead over there, whereas over here they just kill you a different way... usually through the press/media.

Well nerdylife a few of us have given an opinion of our thoughts on achievable price, what's yours ?
45 to 57
Good luck to you BBG. Expect we'll all be long gone before you see that sort of return.
SOLG would hqve to be a viable and expanding producer to court 200p. More chance of finding some rocking horse sh*t in Byron Bay.
For as much as I would like to see a higher price, I doubt that we will go beyond the 30-40p range. I would love to be wrong of course, and get the big sale followed by the 60ft sailboat.
Yes fort. that's a better view of things. than just dismissing it as a couple of drug gangs. well done
Don't disagree with you Fort. I suppose I'm just concerned that Ecuador is particularly dangerous right now and that's just not conducive to trying to break new frontiers be that in a political context or other.
I hope Scott and SOLG can overcome it.
Oh great and wise leader, Kalneedabari.
Pray share with us your great wisdom to us mere mortals.
No doubt thou hast sold all your holdings in that unlikely mining pit - because of bad people. Tell us oh great one, are there other investments in countries where there are big mines and investments where there is not such badness. Maybe you have invested in Mexico or Chile or Brazil.
Please tell us oh wise sage , that we may learn from your goodness and we thank you for warning us about that nasty Solg thingy.
We must remember that bbg told us he spent 6 months in Byron bay and 6 months in the uk. when I pointed out no such visa exists to allow this. he disappeared for a while. and when he came back ,low and behold he's now living in Italy. so his £2 a share should be served with lashings of salt
No point in replying to you pads. as soon as your contradicted you run to admin.
Lol look what a dangerous place Ecuador is
Murder rate 25th in the world ….. way less than both South Africa & Brazil ….. so I guess mining impossible in these places too?
Only slightly worse than the USA too ….. no wonder no major companies would consider investing there either … oh no wait

45 to 57 Wow needy that is a real ramp
Of a price and a brilliant ROI for me buddy over the 6 odd years of being in selling a few buying a few etc etc and a 4 bag from here 👍👍👍
Didn’t realise you were so positive on solg that’s literally 23p from my low end target which we all know could easily happen once the bidding or discussion starts
Spot on DBW.
Scaremongering aplenty from our resident clown.
