Was it a good netball match? More on topic, what do you reckon to the new non ex director appointments? A swimwear designer and an educationalist? I don't know what to make of it, good or bad. Trainee drone operators dressed in mankinis and mortar boards?
watching a daughter's netball match lol ...looking promising
Was that you picking up a few more today, Jolly, or were you unloading your substantial holding?
@14.75p
trading stats yesterday. In and out if you believe the buy and sell markers. I don't .Never much news from Simi. In a way I don't mind that. We already had a piece of good news and that sent the price down. You just never know. At least I don't.
It was certainly good to see the price rise by 2p on just 36k of buys yesterday. Presumably someone's doing some canny bottom-fishing. There's only 15k maximum available to buy online. Hopefully all this this means the overhang is largely or completely cleared.
in trades? Maybe someone will jump in soon. The spread is high but I doubt you'd have to pay 17 for them
And still the spread is over 13%. Determined to stop anyone interested in buying here. gla.
Or does it? TP
Blimey! "Muzzle off!" LoL Let's hope #SIM fulfils its potential & does an #MWE
No trades showing on L2. Delayed buy or some devious plot ? Gl
has put a floor here...how strong, who knows?
It's always a worry with small compnanies (and sometimes very big ones) that the accounting maybe very creative to the point of surreal. In the case of Simigon, as some others have pointed out, this might be difficul to pull off. After all, they are not trying to opérate in a mobile phone App market, nor are they a small African miner. As said before, they are in a sensitive área and keep news to a mínimum. An update on the financial side could help this one along. Lets see.
Thanks i checked after i posted, thought someone had said resulst due but might be confused. It doesnt takea lot The lack of new contracts since the 6.7m a few years ago is what made me sell out. I expected them to kick on from there, and again withh the chinese civil aviation market... But nothinng came so i lost faith after a loooong wait.. Still cheap at this price though Atb
Yup - that's what I was alluding to Ian. Results last year were April. Jolly - also in past rns's there is some mention of being a preferred contractor I think. gla.
Perhaps he means appointed them as a supplier of training - which they clearly have with the us airforce contracts. I doubt the us airforce would use a dodgy company. Put this back on watchh when are results due?
can you point me to where us govn/DoD says they appointed SIM??...I would appreciate any external (non SIM) testimonials
I would be amazed if SIM did not have to go through a rigorous Pre Qualification and Tender process to contract with the US government which would include declaration of current assets and demonstration of sustainability. I therefore don't have issues with the Balance Sheet here. My concerns are around growth in sales and where my b/even sp value might be achieved. Israeli dividend tax is also irritating. Just hope all future rns's are positive. gla.
v cheap...seems fairly clear cut ...may be that YA or others are selling, but the absence of huge buying here suggest wariness with accounts/management (evident @ rci, syq, mbo etc etc) across many tiddlers.. ...and I have plenty of sympathy with that wariness...the current system is based on trust unlike in athletics say where it is based on forensically enforced transparency ...this issue of agency and conflicts between agency and ownership is as old as the hills...read war and peace...even adam smith reckoned that trusting directors was curiously wide of reality...why does our current capitalist model???
Wish I knew your answer Ian. Beats me why we have drifted this low. My average still far too high - try to delude myself that it is only a paper loss:-) Someone once suggested the company had spirited away $1m but I think that was a bit of frustration showing. I'd hold off buying back in till an upward trend becomes evident if I were in as lucky position as yourself. Spreads far too wide as usual. GL.
Not in but look in from time to time. 13.75 and mcap 6.8m ? Wow. Cash is £4m gbp. So 60% of mcap cash held?? Is it just a seller thats brought it so low.
Happy New Year to you Jolly and all other Simigon holders and potential holders.I say happy but the start to the year has been far from it. I've looked around for info on Simi but it's hard to find. I suppose that might be because they do opérate in a very sensitive área. If I was employing them to train my defense forcé, I'd be a bit concerned about too much publicity.Lets hope for some possitive news soon
if they invited full forensic audit ...I have not found reassuring statements on the websites of companies that SIM's rns reference but that may be lack of thoroughness (I have not tried v hard) and my incompetence ...I'd love to find check 6 press release praising SIM or similar happy new year, blue, tp, meth and all
The price of this share is pretty much its cash in the bank value and its profitable and pays a dividend-surely overlooked and could re-rate fast on any good news update.
Probaballly right ,BD, about the lack of interest in SIM. Mind you, I prefer that to the intense interest in the likes of GBO,ZOX and IFL over the last year.
