Was expecting news on Ntem being lost to company. Madagascar withdrawal, doesn't leave a lot to ruminate over. Somaliland long term, Chinguetti looks like decommissioning and C3 is hardly a jewel. Its finger out time
and still got $95m
Just a watching brief Isen - doubled up and stuck in back drawer - zzzzzzzzzz
The sleeping giant awaketh!
only because this looks ready to break out on the chart.
Got my AGM voting paperwork yesterday. Fairly standard stuff nothing out of the ordinary.
this company is very similar to CHAR. So I wonder if a similar rise will occur here as well. there was a lot of volume on april 6th.
Hi Troajan, what is you see in the chart for SEY?
Apologies for board hopping but- The petition is going quite well; over 3770 signatures so far. Although it really needs a turbo boost. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/112044/sponsors/frRbCOsOLO6QqIN82UOX This petition was stalled in parliament since 12th Aug 15; finally green lit on 12th feb 2016. The FCA don't even reply on the matter, now is your chance to have your say. If you hate seeing buys reported as sells etc!!!!!! Has already been sent to Martin Lewis, Daily Mail, Moneyweek & Watchdog. My local MP supported this petition by writing to the petitions committee to help un-stall it. There’s 650 MP’s in Westminster, So have you written to your MP? 649 to go! If this petition doesn’t reach 10,000; then imo we might as well have not bothered as it will almost certainly be filed B1N; @ 10,000 the government should respond. So – If you haven’t yet signed or indeed have but haven’t passed it on to others, then now’s the time to do so. We really need a social / media savvy individual to help generate more interest in this.
i wonder if its starting to wake up now.
cash resources almost $100m . good enough for me.
NO it has not maintained the cash pile . This is some $ 10, 000,000 down
Decommissioning Tender is now out for the removal of FPSO and infrastructure this year.
RNS out for Annual financial report. Good to see its maintained its cash pile and remains virtually debt free. Also interesting to see it mention the possibility of project debt if early production justifies it.
Looks like our partner in Somaliland is finding it difficult in "Kurdistan". Not that Somaliland is safe, but we might see this work beginning to progress.
is up on the website.
Yeah I am accumulating here in SEY as well as CHAR and PMG. difficult to call the bottom on these and crude oil so just taking my time to build up decent holdings in these. not much activity on the bulletin boards for these stocks. but good time to buy in before the herd come in.
Thought it was the right board, with me wanting Sterling to bid for Chariot!! Strangely enough I am also in CHAR & PMG and way way to deep in FPM & SQZ. Sterling I have a decent holding in the back drawer from pre Bamboo drill and accumulating to here. Similar vein - little or no debt is the play and my gut feel is SEY is a dark horse that will come good.
Shame to see them relinquish the C3 licence offshore Mauritania. at least the withdrawl it won't incur any costs. Still got C-10 and that has proven basin. "The withdrawal from Block C-3 does not impact SEML’s interest or activity in Block C-10 and SEML look forward to working with Tullow to mature the existing portfolio and finalise the planned well on Block C-10 for 2017." If they can get this well done in 2017 and POO recover in 2017 also could bring this forgotten stock back to life.
wrong board this is Sterling. But I am also in Chariot and Parkmead. I like these oilies with massive cash piles and little or no debt.
For a cheeky bid for Chariot Oil.... in this environment its a bit like having a land bank if you want to build future property.
The Mauritainia blocks looks promising and the company is trading at a significant discount to cash. Currently in a cyclical bear market within the resource sector but t this will be enjoyable to see this re-rate when we do finally come out of it.
Planning to buy in tomorrow. Looks great to me. I can see its not that busy on this forum and which is a good sign as I like to avoid the fad stocks where the BBs are really busy.
See rns 17/12/2015 ( must get new glasses ha ha!)
