SOUTHERN CROSS LANDLORDS ACCEPT RENT CUT Southern Cross's landlords have agreed to take 'significant' long-term cuts to help the embattled care homes operator avoid insolvency. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/e8501838-95f9-11e0-ba20-00144feab49a.html#axzz1P63DVKnT
We've all seen them. Examples are cash strapped ASTO which regularly features in the top share risers and Uniq which had a massive pension deficit but is now trading at near 20 times its 52 week low. SCHEs losses are largely attributable to a write-off of goodwill (an intangible asset). Makes it attractive for a t/o? There's still a future in this IMO - evidenced by a big buy over ask price (6.39), ii's building stakes and everyone concerned working together to make the restructure a success. I'm a bit down on my original 7.5 entry but not planning on selling till the fat lady sings. That's my stance but dyor and take your own positions. (BTW 3000 redundancies sounds bleak until you look at the total no. of employees (44,000) and then realise that staff turnover was 21% anyway .....)
Please gentlemen could we keep this thread civil, It's starting to read like an iii board.. Thank you
Anyone in this Share is in it for making a nice bit of cash if SCHE carry on, you can't with SCHE problems say that you are an investor. I have got back in today with a small amount if they give some good news then we may see 10p again. If not then i may lose out, with penny shares you take a chance & it could pay off big time, just don't put all your cash in one share, only that is where you can lose big time, i know, overall if you spread it into 5-10 companys you should come out on top.
trader my arse, where do you work then?
for admitting your a trader,i take my hat off to you for that, but what i think is getting up peoples goats here,is your also admitting that your trying to get pi's to put money in here just to help hike the price so you can take yours out,and other pi's money at the same time for your own means which is the reality of it i'm afraid,so for that reason i don't think your going to make many friends with the wise on LSE'S bb's,and i think you may get reported in the end is my guess, but not by me.
No Southern Cross homes to close until at least October http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13757251

Just to confirm I am not a investor but a trader, something most traders do in the city every day, though I can go short-term investing, in some good ones out there, which are, GLEN, SOLO,SER,NTOG,TPJ,BMRLED,SML,SHG,STI, All of these are penny shares or in the Aim, they all have massive upside chances, ones to watch in partuicular are SOLO, NTOG and SER.
You certainly do work hard with all your posts to try and suck as much goodness out of this share on a dead cat bounce, for the few minutes,or even maybe an hour you will be invested in this tomorrow,i wonder what share you will be looking at at 9 in the morning when youv'e sold out,if you make any money that is,which i must admit could be possible, the medium term outlook for this company, well lets just say i feel it has as much chance as a snowball in an oven of recovering to anything of a decent level, admin or massive equity swop is the medium likely outcome here.Be very careful everyone.
100% correct, this can go either way, I agree, its one of those high risk, high reward.
Read and digest the articles you post. The landlords have a plan - which will suit them. Will anyone else agree. We don't know. Does Fisher know what will happen. NO! What he'd like to happen - maybe. This share is a compolete gamble now. You might win a lot. or. . .
Example of the Led pump and dump by Ross the other day. "We could see some silly moves here up100,200,300%, any thing is possible, they have very few shares in issue and its a penny shares moving up on a major contract" A few posts later he then posted he dumped despite telling the thread the stock could easily rise 100-200-300% ??? "Yep, sold at 1.26 at a decent profit, boom and bust risk"
No stock can open 100% down otherwise it would be 0p :-)) Just like Led you will be dumping while in full flow ramping, i think people should be aware that you have no intention of holding this stock for very long after the open in the morning.
Anyway its no point scoring points, lets just have a good night and see what happens in the morning, no guarantees either way.
I agree, these cant open 100% down, was just making a point to the bankmanager who was having a moan at me for stating these could open 100%+
now theres your biggest mistakes in investing on your last post. mistake 1, ive lost sod all here, shorted from 80p!! admittedly could have/should have been much higher. and lets face facts, i am not a bank manager, my proffesion is a little more oily and under ground!!!!! research is every thing!!!
Do me a favour, go to advfn and pump and dump there and stay there ! How can a stock open 100% down, think about it, that one line itself just shows you have not a clue what you are doing, you just buy a stock and post none stop garbage. Do you think if Sche survives there will be anything left for shareholders, imo as dilution does not matter now i would do a 10 for 1 rights at 1p and get as much cash as possible, sod shareholders, it's not the priority now in this stock
NO TRUSTS A BANKER - HE HAS HAD A DIFFICULT COUPLE OF YEARS, LOOKS LIKE HIS GREED HAS CAUGHT UP WITH HIM. JUST IGNORE HIM, AND STAY WELL AWAY FROM HIM.
What a load of Rubbish from you - I am only putting on here as a researcher , any news that is being reported, if you dont agree, that your issues, you should keep your personal losses person, nobody is interested Mr Banker. Of all persons, Its very unlikely any body will take advice from Banker, people like put these companies on their knees.
writing is on the wall, admin is 100% guaranteed, ignore any fool posting other wise here, i tried my best to warn elswhere!!!! remember jarvis if nothing else ffs!!!!!
