Please can you fully explain your reasoning for predicting a further PRU share price decline to below £7.50?
£7.50 or lower is on the horizon.
Jason31
what is or not to be a reality outcome, in this world we live in, is for you to decide, depending on how you see the world over the next 6-12 months or so
Thank you for your reply Pokerchips.
Is £4-£5 a reality for the share price?
This is a first for wetherspoons they look after there clients Pru is going down the loo. Bale out!
Just bought a short 10000 PRU @ £8.12, hoping to sell at £8.00 or lower
Jason31
The company itself is fine. The problem is with the world economic outlook at the moment and high interest rates . When they improve then PRU investments improve. China is doing poorly and that affects South East Asia too both of where PRU has business.
Long term..well, .. one surely hopes the world will be in a better position to now, sure
Thank you John. Long term, is there a recover possible. Basically is it hoped just a blip?
In a nutshell….China!
Does anyone know why this share is so badly performing?
950p is my short term target but will trim to improve around £9+ or add sub £8
I added Friday as well .... the price is low, but macro sentiment sends it one way or the other
If sentiment can change and hold..then I think there is a lot of price ground that can be recovered
IMO
I got in size last week. P1ssed about the early price action this morning as feels like a low now, with all the China news as negative as it can be. If the valuation doesn’t re rate then someone (Allianz, Chubb, HSBC etc) will take PRU out.
Now is the time to bring back the Man from the PRU.
Evening Crossley,
I usually invest when a ftse100 share, daily RSI,is under 30. PRU has fallen under 30, so i too invested.
We’ll have see what happens.
Happy New Year….
Morning,
Entered this morning at £8.34. 1% above target price but hey ho
Happy ,Healthy & (hopefully) Prosperous New Year
Try buying low and selling high. Then you’ll be able to avoid Butlins which sounds dreadful
Years ago I used to take my family abroad on the divi at least once a year now I could only take them to Butlins for a day, my how times have CHANGED!
The great Pru is in the loo, if China get a poonami we're all in the SH_T. PS do, t mention the War.
Good luck. I would just be happy to get my money back on this dog. Perhaps betting on a greyhound would be more profitable? China / HK seems to be a constant flow of bad news and untill that changes pru will not do anything.
I've just entered at 858p. I have held Pru in the past and have seen some optimistic forecasts for the company in 2024 and the broker consensus is STRONG BUY. Hope for a decent tax free profit in 2024 in my ISA!
Reentered again @ 854
This will be above £12, in less than 3 months (at least, if not sooner)
This is the exact time to invest here and you will soon learn how earning is changing here
This will do so well in no times.
IMHO
DYOR
As money moves from bonds due to interest rate falls the money flow will be to equities. Bubbling up nicely for a January mega rally as US earnings are maintained.
DOW 40k and S&P 5k soon to be a reality, I ws calling this for 6 months or so and it seems to be coming close.
FOMO and greed should see up through the NY and to mid Jan before profit taking.
There is going to be volatility from the traders ,as the market debates the bull/bear scenarios for the near term
You have to just pay your money and take your chance .... no one is going to be able to predict anything with any certainty ...there are as we know a lot of issues to deal with ..and the macro isnt so bright right now...but then that is when share prices are cheaper.... if you want good news then you pay a price for it...
but..as Europe heads for recession and China struggles with deflation ..the need to cut Interest rates grows stronger
Just have to keep wage inflation down and service sector price rises under strong control
PRU is actually doing well behind the scenes...despite the market bears keeping a lid on any SP progression ...
