Could it be the last laugh ?
and (for me) it's interesting watching the Proxama saga unfold. MS sounds like the right guy to have the helm, and I'm sure he is more than aware of the reality surrounding JK. Me, I know only what I have read, and am pinning my hopes on the new broom.
'Kin hell
John Kennedy also sold all his Proxama shares http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=PROX&ArticleCode=4ll4tiyc&ArticleHeadline=PDMR_Dealing I think you should route that post of yours to mark slade for clarification. John Kennedy is a little rat, so it would'nt surprise me one bit.
Morning all, I havent read this board in months so apologies if this has been discussed before, but one of my fellow Twitterers pointed out last night that John Kennedy is still very much a part of this company. He may have resigned from Proxama PLC, but he is still a Director of Location Sciences. In November a new company was registered at Companies House called "Location Sciences Group Ltd". See here... https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/11077939 One of the Directors being our very own John Kennedy (Finance Director) as per the people page: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/11077939/officers Why is he a Director of this new company when he supposedly resigned and has a new job in insurance? And why have they set up a new PRIVATE listed company, when we already have a PUBLIC listed company? This is pure speculation but if Proxama PLC were to sell the Location Sciences business to the Location Sciences Group Ltd, then everything Locations Sciences wise becomes private and we will be left holding shares in a cash shell. Are their intentions to stitch us shareholders up again, or does anybody on here know why else they have set up the Private Ltd companytax purposes?! I havent contacted Slade, thought Id throw it out here first.
Shares in proxama holding there own today lol
If any shareholder wants to see the potential here, then this is where to begin. Mark Slade formed and sold his ad company 4th Screen to Opera Mediaworks a few years ago. Revenues were $100m plus As part of the deal he ended up taking a role at Opera Mediaworks, where he was Managing Director of a $multi-billion Tech company and yet he reaigns there and jumps over to Proxama. A struggling Norwich based, beacon technology based company whos bubble had burst under previous management. Refocusing the business into a dedicated data point collection he hopes to transform what is a directionless tech firm, into Europes foremost at what is the birth of a new way of using location service data to tailor and generate sales for a myriad of companies. Its a huge risk, it is early days but he is slowly reshaping the company into his vision of how best to get in at the beginning of an exciting new technology and of course he is fully aware of how and why the information that they hold can be used by other firms in order to improve their own sales. Knowledge is power and Mark Slade now stands with the key in his hand to fully unlock this power for the first time. Exciting times indeed
Thisgo might lack erudition, but 6m ago I didn't think it would survive 2017. I'm VERY lightly invested, but regard this unlikely survival as evidence of a future. GLA, still may need it.
badshah13 That's good to hear. I arrived shortly before Mark Slades appointment. Needless to say initially locked in, but took the offer and have continued to add ever since.
Look forward to seeing how much revenue these billions of Data points are generating ! What their cash position is to date ,or out of date ! One thing that's probably nailed on ,is a revenue increase from circa 50 K for the Data side .
I am invested here due to Mark Slade past work experience. Opera was a big enough name and there would have been something significant he might have seen to come here from Opera. Looking to topup more next week.
Chief Executive Officer Thought this was worth a bounce. If for no other reason than it makes me feel better ;) Mark Slade: Mark is one of the advertising industries leading lights with numerous senior relationships across the ad tech and media giants. He joins us from Opera Mediaworks, where he was Managing Director, EMEA. Mark founded and sold his mobile advertising business 4th Screen to Opera, and then helped grow the business to over $100m in revenues. Marks expertise is in executing in a high growth ad tech sector as well as European acquisitions.
64 GPU equals very good AI but 128 GPU is close to Skynet ;)
Apparently Millions of rows of Data is not cool anymore! :) https://www.mapd.com/blog/2016/10/10/blowing-past-the-billion-row-benchmark/
With thanks to Plunge across the way. Posted by Mark Slade on his LinkedIn account today. "We are looking for experienced data engineers to join our growing and cutting edge data team... billions of rows of data!" So it appears the business is starting to scale up. I eagerly await the annual update and forward guidance statement.
as per last RNS, last years audited results should be out in couple of weeks, hopefully that can bring some positive news..
There will be an update next month.

"Hmmmm... May be the case the senior data team has jumped ship... Depends if it's from growth or lack of retention." - it's a basic, basic role. Look at the specification and then look at the experience required.
Could do with some good news i feel, and a nice blue day :)
He's harmless chap , has lost some money and still unable to get over it. Completely understandable.
Idiot...
Wow feb and this share is still alive got to fold before end of the month
If someone has left, maybe it would be because they're overworked and underpaid? Either way, there must be work that needs doing!
Hmmmm... May be the case the senior data team has jumped ship... Depends if it's from growth or lack of retention.
