Even more electricity from France !. Green of course .
Yep thanks to years of Green and then Greenpeace propaganda the politicians too cowardly to buy and build new nuclear power plants for 25 years.....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiling_Sun
Kent will be looking for a tadge more gas fired electric in the foreseeable future, not sure how the tariffs compare with the European inter-connector cables tho.
Just a thought - do these undersea cables contribute to warmer water in the channel and therefore global warming. lol.

I’ve not seen exploration finance before. Is this something PMG could obtain for skerryvore and west of shetland licences?
Yes, bang goes that theory!
Oh well, at least LBE have done something at last, looks a bit of a damp squib from the RNS though - at first glance at least.
SOTB, 28th May is I think LBE's 18 months 'times up', so I was being hopeful in that direction rather than impatient ;-)
As you know, I've been here a while, fully expect things to play out in the next few weeks/months.
------------------------
Guess we can can rule out LBE ....Robs12 they have done a reverse take over on themselves drilling 7 exploration wells in the Norwegian sector !
I expect the share price will rise in anticipation of the news within the next 4-8 weeks. The Technicals and fundamentals are good here. The price is in an uptrend, that is higher highs and higher lows. We are consolidating just now, but at a higher level than the last consoildation period. Consolidations do tend to last for a month or two, or even three. Yes I was slighly disappointed that last months rally didnt end up going higher as I thought it might, but the important thing is that the trend is still unchange i.e upward. Thats why I havent sold yet. That is still much upside left to play for. Lots of cash in the bank, so no risk of cash placing -see CHAR for what that can do the share price . i.e that dropped 30 percent in day. so thats not happening here. And PMG is earning from its gas interests so income albeit, a small amount, is increasing the cash balance over time. I have watched with some pain as some shares watch list go up 50 percent while I wait for PMG to deliver share price wise, but I am confident the next two months should just do that imo. I dont see much downside risk here, unless something happens in the wider markets, but as I know from a long history of trading, **** can happen. BUt as always DYOR.
robs12, without wanting you to say anything you don’t want to, have you heard anything with regards to a deal with LBE or are you making some calculated guesses? Thanks.
Money on next week for Platypus. Cal and Parkmead look to be teaming up as 'gas hungry' partners. Hub update could be any time. Anything positive there and we fly. Also wouldn;t be surprised by developments at Diever. Also highly prospective and due news. Skerryvore seismic due also, Exciting few months coming up for Parkmead. And still it languishes near lows while Kistos has 4 times the market cap and far fewer irons in the fire. Along with a load of debt. Market makes no sense sometimes! Opportunity to buy for some though at this price should make some great returns in time

Tom did state that he hopes to settle on the preferred route for the GPA at some point this year, so maybe a few months or more yet. Clearly we have more than 1 x option available to us, Tom is taking his time to get the best deal for PMG.
With more of the big players going down the offshore wind farm route and pressure from the zero carbon groups to reduce exploration for fossil fuels, the existing discoveries in the north sea may move up the priority list ahead of exploration, so the GPA area should become even more desirable to interested parties.
Robs12:- you do sound impatient.......When all the boxes have been ticked the GPA news will be announced. As all shareholders are aware it's not all about Parkmead it's collabaration with all parties involved.
Will tomorrow be the day for a GPA announcement??!!
Or maybe next week, or next month....hopefully not next year..
Belief in someone who gives you dip in 10 years doesn't seem like a good strategy to me, either.
Hope and hold has many successes alongside of its many failures for me.
It is also not my only strategy, I do hope and buy, hope and close my eyes too, they are really good.
Hope and hold doesn’t seem like a very good investment strategy! May as well play the lottery!
People have been going on about faith in Tom Cross for more than 10 years now. Most of that time has seen a slow decline in SP. There is frequently talk about the share being able to achieve much higher value. Tom Cross and people like Robert James Dundas Finlay (the name says it all for me...what sort of bloke is he ... stockbroker, investment banker, director of failing businesses) have been enjoying benefits (salaries divs etc) from investments from the likes of many posters. Why would you trust Tom Cross?
I have money here as I once owned RHEP, I should have sold but I haven't in hope not trust.
Seems pretty connected to me. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/robert-finlay-90401725

ever?.......
I'm hoping they do within the next 2-3 years
Parkmead won't sell
to sell or to drill?
Brent has broke through $70 dollars a barrel......now is the time Tom !
slipping.......but not much further IMHO,markets on edge, correction due, people don't know where to put their money,Crypto,Gold,Silver,Shares etc
Property and markets are wobbly......I think oil will rally with inflation so we should follow!!
Just my opinion.
