The.Italian.
Thanks for that. Just think how difficult it is for everyone else to find and you were actually looking for it !!! Certainly needs a lot of PR/advertising, which no doubt we will have to pay for, but with what ?
Jim is obviously distancing himself from the deal given what has happened....... SP sold down, deal made at an historic RP low SP (even though RP knew after the positive CHMP announcement that the switch to OTC approval was a said that would have a positive impact on SP), SP starts to rise on increased volume (DLI news leak), DLI agreement announcement made followed by the EU OTC announcement the next day (even though the EU had approved of the shift to OTC 7 days earlier). I bet that if the EU OTC approval had been made two weeks later, the DLI announcement would also have been made 2 weeks later. I've written it once, and now I'll write it again. The whole thing stinks......
Anyroadup. something for you to read, compliments of POM.

Amazing how a venture capital investment company (LongVC) takes part in a series A funding only to sell up a few weeks later to RPG (obviously very experienced in investing.....not) . Certainly makes no sense unless some agreements had been made, deals within deals ? I wonder what plans Jim now has for their 35m investment pot.....LOL I wouldn't be surprised if he were not somehow connected to the company "an investment group backed by the most prominent advisory board in the longevity industry"
We now await the circular to be sent to shareholders on or before 23 September 2020 with the usual proxy/voting documents uploaded on the RPG website, so keep them peeled.

https://www.lifespan.io/news/tag/young-ai/ morning bignose.intersting article from POM so thanks to you both for that.they even managed to get the de rigour mention of a possible Covid angle in! certainly a happy money go round isn't it.i wonder if PI's interests were top of the consideration list? possibly not lol. anyway i did actually find two other sites re YoungAI but i only posted the one .ive posted the other two now just for completeness, but no doubt they will be doing some advertising as you say at our expense.what gets me is the article talks (as many of them do )as though its all a done deal .i suppose thats how they like to present it but its not done yet.i agree that mellon did seem to be distancing himself from it ,but the other side of the coin is that he needn't have mentioned it at all i suppose,as i don't imagine for a second that the whole webcast is anything other than totally orchestrated.not even a whif of a searching question and if sycophancy were an olympic sport the interviewer would be a shoe in for the gold medal.it did feel as though Mellon was trying to promote it, albeit in a rather vague way and he did emphasise that it was very early stage.i do wonder if they will try and introduce further acquisitions down the line and if so where will this leave us and fortacin? i really don't like all this wheels within wheels and financial legerdemain, as its rarely in the PIs' interests but we are stuck with it.as you say now awaiting the deal documentation
rigeur! predictive text
OTC could be huge for Fortacin.
The Italian,
The Webinars are a waste of time because they are orchestrated. Jim owns Master Investor and as such he owns the boot licking James Faulkner.
Apart from not knowing anything about business, they also both certainly don't know anything about guitars that's for sure "Is that a les Paul".. "I don't know as I have not picked it up for a bout 10 years".
The said guitar (sitting in the background) is an acoustic guitar. A les Paul is a sold body Gibson electric guitar (the classic colour being sunburst) it has 2 x humbucker pick-ups so called because there are two sets of windings on each pick-up which counteract the hum as opposed to a Fender Stratocaster which uses 3 sets of single wound pick-ups that do exhibit hum (I know as I have one... not a pick-up but a Fender Stratocaster...lol). A well known Gibson les paul user was Gary Moore who actually released an album called "Blues for Greeny" it wasn't a dedicated album to Peter Green (guitarist from the original Fleetwood Mac), but because Peter Green gave Gary More his Gibson Les Paul which Gary uses throughout the album. A very good album if one likes the way he overdrives the amps whilst playing. (Listen to Thin lizzy's Parisian walkways where he holds a note for about 30 seconds).
There endeth the lesson. :-)
I was in error.
Peter Green loaned his guitar to Gary, although I understand he had it for quite sometime .. ;-)

It still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck when I listen to it.....Yo
Bothwell,
Lets hope so, but they will certainly need to work on getting it known about through some very needed concentrated PR.
bignose yes waste of time and particularly annoying as the snippet on regent came in the 51st minute.so 50 mins of self congratulatory and self promotional pabulum had to be endured to get there.so no "Deep Guitar Inc" then, the modern day equivalent of bert weedon's's" play in a day". very impressive knowledge re the guitar from you though. strangely l i was listening to a you tube performance by thin lizzy of whiskey in the jar on friday. it was, however, a fairly recent performance with i think just one of the original line up so not really the same, just trading on the name. gary moore was only 58 when he died although possibly not the best advertisement for healthy living I'm afraid.still far too early to depart. i doubt its your cup of tea but i am always mightily impressed by glen campbell's performances of the william tell overture.by all accounts he was an amazingly gifted guitarist who performed on many sessions for very big names before he became famous as a singer in his own right.not sure how difficult it is to play but to me (completely non musical )it seems and astonishing virtuoso performance. not going to post a link for fear of ridicule! on a serious not let us hope that the OTC gets the promotion it needs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUBhE00h9U0 ok changed my mind. i'll risk the ridicule. hes playing a twelve string and over his head at the end.just theatrics? how difficult? no idea but its a performance.
The.Italian. Thanks for that. No ridicule from here. Funnily enough a couple of days ago I was watching him play the guitar part on the dueling banjos (Deliverance). He wrote some classic, well loved songs. Such a pity he succumbed to Alzheimer's. There was a documentary about him which apparently is one of the rare films to achieve a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Gary Moore died from a heart attack whilst walking on a beach with his wife. unfortunately all the early years of hard living finally caught up with him.
Anyway on a lighter note.. I also came across this... A 6 year old Chinese girl playing Hotel California, truly amazing. She plays all the instruments (obviously some mixing being done) including the drums and bass guitar. Her English in places is a little off, but adds to the cuteness of her voice. I urge you to watch it as you I am sure will be very impressed.

Enjoy
Going back to Jim's speech, cos t was a bit like that...lol I couldn't help but spit out my mouth of coffee when he said.....
"I’m trying to keep a roof over the heads of the people who live here".......Yet here is guy who has a learjet and is worth 932 mill (last time I looked).... amazing stuff.
"Not enough time in the world to do everything"........ So no longer time for RPG or even Fortacin it would appear. I'm sure he will have more time once the product sells and his net worth increases to billionaire status........
"I can’t bleat, it’s not been a bad period. It’s been terrible for other people. I count my blessings"…. HIs interest, I expect, more than pays for his investment hobby.
Notice how very fidgety from embarrassment he is when making these comments...........
I'd throw my hand up in the air in amazement, but unfortunately there is no emoji, so you will have to imagine it...... LOL
Oh and a small bit of info I managed to obtain...... There is no longer an impurities issue...... I slipped than one in under the radar to see if anyone is indeed reading my posts........ LOL
morning bignose. always enjoy duelling banjos and deliverance was a great film.reminds me of days long ago .havent seen the documentary but will keep eye out for it. the little chinese girl is mightily impressive (amazing really).i particularly liked the last section where she highlights the electric guitars.hard to imagine a six year old playing like that. used to be a big fan of the eagles (my generation) and was gutted when someone stole my greatest hits cd a few years ago (personal favourite "take it to the limit") but somehow have never got round to replacing it
yes the sententious sermonising of the super rich and the so called celebrities is pretty hard to stomach I'm afraid.(and don't get me started on politicians at least here in the UK as i shall succumb to apoplexy).i do wonder if it rankles mellon that he can't seem to get over or maintain the billionaire mark.must be very frustrating for him lol.lets hope Regent can help him push on and that bothwells confidence in OTC is well founded. very good news re the impurities question (yes i am paying attention) perhaps things will start to come together. now off to get some lifestyle advice from the Kardashians!(gardening actually).
The.Italian, all my music (CD’s, tapes n old LP’s)has been converted to mp3 and resides on several hard drives (I’m neurotic about keeping backups as once lost, too difficult to replace), however. There are many websites where high quality mp3s (256kbs and above) can be downloaded, so very easy replace ur Eagles album. You can even burn them to CD if it’s ur preference. I use thumb drives for the car with random playlists. I’ve even ripped some old DVD musicals, extracted the audio track, cut out and saved the songs to create my own albums.
thanks for the suggestion bignose.my post set me to thinking if i could replace it .think it would have to be burnt to a cd as thats my preference.i will look into this further.tech not my strong point.may have to get my son to do it for me ha ha.
https://musicpleer.cloud/#!take+it+to+the+limit+eagles
Download the largest file size for the best quality.
And of course skip the live versions since they just don't sound the same as the studio versions
much obliged to you bignose.i think i shall go for the greatest hits version as that was the cd i used to have.thanks again.
just read the lifespan IO article in full and it states that young AI will be launching on the applestore on 29th sept looks like theres will be a free to download version but with extras/add ons which will cost.i wonder if they have got any advertising revenue model which is perhaps where the value lies.just speculating as i know nothing about app advertising and never understand how the free apps make money.
its designed to integrate with apple watch and fitbit. currently no android version but they are working on it.
The.Italian
Most free apps have advertising banners. I.e they get income from all adverts shown and as you state don't have all the bells n whistles. Most users get so fed up with the ads that they purchase the product with the added benefit of bells n whistles.
Apps don't usually cost much, in fact just a few squid. Companies count on quantity. If its that good , they sell a lot. The board has 3 months to see how sales are before voting for it (Jim n Jamie can pull the plug Amy the just by voting it down)...I guess :-)
thanks for that bignose.im quite interested to see if it catches on with fitbit users and apple watch.there seems to be quite a market for this sort of thing. https://www.vox.com/the-goods/2020/3/12/21163690/fitness-trackers-fitbit-applewatch-garmin.my daughter, who is certainly no techie geek, loves her fitbit and speaks very highly of it.may not catch on of course but will be interesting to see .the young AI app is of course only one of the things Deep longevity is doing. im certainly not getting any great hopes up yet but if it goes through(and no guarantee as yet) lets hope it's not just another rich man's vanity project.
Let's hope it doesn't go down the route of Fitbug n CTAG. If it's that different, maybe Microsoft or Apple will buy the AI for a billion as an add-on...... Now that would be nice wouldn't it ..... :-)
