Sp will spike both ways until the final validation of process has been confirmed. Upon which it's only going to spike one way.
The most ludicrous so far is the latest attempt to pour concern over the "bonafide"? credentials of the inspection.
We've all bought rubbish of ebay made in China for 50p. The kiln will not be made of the same low grade materials. Like some others are claiming, I to have been involved with manufacturing equipment made in China, and whilst it did not have the same quality as its Swiss / German counterparts, it performed exactly the same.
Just look at who is the main producer of cars these days, yup the Chinese. Also check the reliability compared to say a Range Rover. You don't always get what you pay highly for. SGS no their stuff.

Agreed, company I work for is a well respected supplier in the material handling business and we outsource a lot of work to China which then goes to production lines for some players in the game, we have very little quality issues considering the volume.
Yes plant dad, making things on budget, to design and on time is all good in my view. Cost effectiveness and probably a guarantee it will be done is a positive in my book. Like you say, lots of UK companies outsource
Scooby,
I’ve just left the oil and gas industry after 40 years so why do you think all refineries demand steel for pipework during construction phases needs to be Western European origin, quite simple there have been many documented instances of accidents involving Chinese steel products. I’m only speaking from experience.
The steel spec for our stuff produced in China is the same as the spec for what we manufacture in our plants in the States, Canada, Sweden, Italy, Brazil amongst others. no issues. I couldnt comment on refinery pipework or the kiln for that matter as I do not know the spec required for either. Would be fairly sure PHE have done their homework on such a critical component though.
Hi Patx. I can only take you at your word so if that's the case, then that's the case. I'm not going to deny that there will be some companies / industries that insist on "West European" sourced steel. I'd also not be surprised however if some of that is actually sourced from China.
Offcourse there will be varying levels of quality in steel making, same as everything else. It's the rigour in the production and qa stages that matter. If it's good then it's good. Cheaper does not always mean poorer.
Interesting when you look at the table of steel producers, soon not be any western European mills possibly, what are left will be owned by Chinese and Indian outfits most likely anyways.

Plantdad,
Exactly you can’t comment on oil and gas high spec equipment. All I’m saying is there’s a tremendous amount of heat involved hear so the steel there using needs to be to a very high standard, I won’t bother you with codes and specs let’s just hope inspection was not done from a distance if you know what I mean. I want this to work as I’ve said before I’m 70% down but sometimes these things come back to bite you.
We will be notified of the progress of the kilns commissioning ( updates) in due course it's all very exiting...
Castle
Material for kiln is high temp stainless steel. As long as it's specd for temp required. Don't know what phe have used but whether it 304, 309, 310 or another using (Chinese grading terminology) it will be comparable.
Most likely 316l for its ability to weld sufficiently
I believe it was an exotic grade as originally there was a long lead time on it.
Let’s just hope everything is ok. If we don’t start getting regular updates and maybe a few pictures. That would be a concern but I’m sure Castle will push for those.
One thing I would say of all the oil and gas equipment we’ve had built over the years I’ve not seen any that was built in China.
Which country has the best steel in the world?
China's
China's steel sector plays a crucial role in supporting various industries, including construction, automotive, infrastructure, and manufacturing. The country's continuous investments in technology, production efficiency, and innovation have contributed to its position as the leading steel producer on a global scale.
China do things a lot cheaper but remember there is no back up if anything goes wrong. You pays your money and take your chance.
Another articulate and intelligent post from you eh Castle.
What was that IQ again of yours?
Books on investment you say? I've said no such thing. Another made up story from you.
You sound like a man on the edge. You sound like someone who for a long time has promised something only for it to not materialise.
As for why I'm here: because I believe PHE potentially has a great product which if steered correctly to production could make a very good investment. If you're someone who can't cope with that as I'm not currently invested then filter me. It's as simple as that. If you need to be constantly reassured about the safety of your investment by the likes of someone who posts pictures of clowns and claims the next phase of PHE's undertaking is going to be 'a piece of cake' then just read his posts.
If I choose to discuss PHE on the PHE bulletin board with other interested posters, whether they are invested or not, I shall do. This board is not the sole domain of those invested.
Castle,
There’s a big difference between steel for the construction industry and high pressure oil and gas systems. It’s chalk and cheese.
This seller is just sucking the life from this stock and I can’t understand why.
Patxaran, there was a pic posted on linkedin somewhere and one on proactive investors albeit not a good pic.

Pat my personal opinion of having the Kiln made in China was one of surprise but we did get let down by a uk provided , I had a confirming email of Paul at PHE saying he is very satisfied ,,,
AGICO was chosen to provide the kiln after much research, and an independent verification of their facilities, processes, and workmanship by SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS).
I have researched AGICO with confidence...

Can anyone give a sensible view on what’s going on with the SP? I agree with Pat below. Can’t understand it.
i'll agree with you patx. quite simple though. if what was asked for is what they infact got and is the correct quality with the required performance then that's fine.
whilst you mention the pressure etc etc, if the chinese can make steel that can withstand everything the elements and physics can throw at it whilst being 100 floors high, then i'm sure a kiln is not beyond their capabilities. i'd imagine they use the same tech to check weld integrity etc as hans in germany, pat in port talbot or sam in s****horpe.
The sp has a lot of interest and a seller ..
Accumulate of shares one way or another by the mms to fill sell orders ,, the sp is restrained most days , shame red and 15 don't have a gag order 😂
Castle
I'm flattered you think I have the influence to effect a share price by posting on here.
Shall we say sub 1p?

12p when we visit the Test centre working .

Let's hope so.
How are things looking with the 'imminent' National Hydrogen confirmation? You know, that venture capital conglomerate.
More importantly, have you been listening to what a certain Mr Buffet has to say about them?
