What are peoples opinions on supply contract issues with DHSC ???
From where I am standing the issue appears milked to drive sp down from £7 odd.
Market sentiment appears the same as buys over sells Friday were quite strong.
Van. I have changed the thread.
I was gutted when I bought Ncyt at 70p and sold at £1.56, then watched go to £12 odd.
Originally I believed Ncyt was a one trick pony, but now realize the company is sat in a prime position as it's apparent that covid is going nowhere.
Van, it looks like the company invested heavily in production and growth last year, hence the weaker than expected year end results.
Van, February 2020, whom would have thought SARS covic 19 would cause so much havoc ???
Woodstock welcome back id imagine you can't believe the buy in price with all the strings we have to our bow. As you will find there are many people who will generously post their research on here for others to digest and who attempt to promote the positives of the company of which there are many.
Hopefully you can partake in the mcap recovery to its true value.
Van. Thanks. Thanks for your time. I will digest your post. My sentiment is the company is sat in a good position. I just needed to be reassured, as I know you are a long term holder.
Warm regards
Wilson. Something is adrift because these boards are about research.
I am glad you are doing ok.

Van. Looks like sp was milked over DHSC ...
Good price to start buying in.
Hope you sold a few at £12. Still gutted my end.

Back in January the majority of ncyt holders believed novacyt were well placed to have a real stab at transforming into a midcap company - something in the £1.5b - £2.5b region. We knew the capital/cash was there to no longer need to raise funds from shareholders and we knew we would be well placed to play a major role in the future diagnostics industry being built. I remember in late January starting to question the risk/reward as the mcap creeped up towards £1b but on the most part stuck with the company as I did believe that midcap valuation was very achievable.
We aren't in exactly the same position as we were then but if we come out favourably following this dispute then theoretically those who previously believed this could become a midcap company should harbour that same belief - except adding/buying now has considerably better upside if that were to be achieved - around 700% rise to midcap compared with 200% earlier in the year.
Van. I cannot believe I sold at £1.56. Permission to cry.
HarChris.
I thought you had been kidnapped by aliens.
How wonderful to see you posting.
Warm regards.
Statement by the DHSC about the dispute. !!
DHSC is presently engaged in a form of alternative resolution with primerdesign Ltd. The process has yet to conclude.
The timing of the DHSC announcement and the American ban of Innova tests might tie in. Will the DHSC need to get the result of the disagreement out of the way to hide some of the fallout from the innova mess.
Could there be a settlement with a non disclosure in place so that the public are once again hidden from the truth.. that would sit in with the way that the innova tests have been used. The outcome will then come sooner rather than later especially with all the recent infections.
And the need to bin the innova tests
Butcher. Are you saying the Ncyt tests are obsolete ???. Thanks for your time.
Hi Harchris , to use the in vogue phrase of being milked , the DHSC issue being resolved favourably allows for a great range of outcomes. Favourably to me would be a repay of up to 50mm and this would rerate. Hopefully no repayment or a compromise with selling a certain amount of kits at around cost so both parties benefit. Hopefully those involved in the arbitration suggest multiple ways of achieving an outcome palatable to both parties. Sometimes better to negotiate and move on. Pleased we are included in the new Frameworks which to me is an indication that this dispute is not beyond remedy without seeking address from the courts.
@Kaeren. It is me that the sp has been milked over the DHSC issue.
I am glad we are using mindful narrative and divulged from the second hand dialogue of attacking well versed long term investers.
Sorry Woodstock. You will have to catch up as I post.
When around 40 posters dislike one poster and a friend ? Appears ?. I always use caution before I interact with a poster. I get the feeling that something is amiss at the moment and I am just posting to counter balance it.
Novacyt look good to go. And I am just posting to counter the avalanche if posts that have nothing to do with the current situation.
Perhaps the problem with DHSC, is because the contract allowed for so many tests and the CEO is fulfiiing better contracts abroad.
No you made money WS and chose to leave. The shortersvand naysayers have milked the DHSC issue. Respect your extensive market knowledge and look to your Ghia and a few others rather then read the entire board. Think this is a superb buy in price a no lose situation unless you want to daytrade over the next three months. Gl K
@Woodstock1970
Wait till the footballs over !
If England lose, some will be looking for trouble.
Much national populist fervour is whipped up around 'the beautiful game' and supporters.
The same terms, atitudes etc... are prevalent on many message boards and unfortunately common place generally in society - so sad but almost impossible to de-program now with multiple generations & sexes involved which was never the case in the past. The bad effects far outweigh the good IMO but c'est la vie.
Woodstock id imagine that unlikely as he'd have to ring fence the dhsc product, I'd presume our argument is product ring fenced dhsc therefore couldn't be sold elsewhere.
Butch. Thanks for your reply. My question hasn't been answered, however I will research further.
Van, I an sorry to see you taking a hard time on this forum. I know you are a well versed genuine invester.
Will research further this evening.
Thanks everyone.
I
Woodstock pse report back if you unearth anything as yet nobody has unearthed a definitive answer to something that has materially impacted our investment short term.
Wilson. Glad to be back on board.
Warm regards.
Had you, you could have “treble” plus your holding?
Why didnt you, is the question?
