Are they not cruising around British isles this year calling at ports like Belfast?
Carnival cruise ships at approx 300m (and some a bit more) wouldn't be coming to Appledore. H & W Belfast is the only yard Infa have capable of taking those big articles.
Obviously I wouldn't expect you say who the little bird was Tango, but how knowledgeable and credible would you rate the little bird on the information supplied, and did they give you any expected timescale ?
Would be interesting see a Carnival at Appledore...!!
But, if we see this in Belfast, then it'll be a huge coup for H&W, and certainly raise some eyebrows. Could be a nice customer relationship to build too.

Totally agree. Each of the subsequent tranches are fixed cash amounts so the prevailing SP will influence directly the number of new shares issued.
With every day that goes past with no new dockings or contract wins, I expect a slightly downward pressure as the spectre of dwindling cash reserves raises the need for another issue. I have never known a company with so much potential with such frustrating delays. I still think the tide will turn but for now, we must reconcile the fact that governments are not concerned with time frames and covid is still a drag.
Lottie123 In relation to your 07.28 post we need share price moving news between now and August so that the number of shares that need to be will be reduced.
The first tranche payment for the yard was a cash and share consideration. The share element consisted of 784,404 shares at 38p. It did not talk of a lock up period so I guess theses shares have been part of the supply issue. It also explains the lack of urgency selling below the support line of 37-38p. The anniversary of the deal triggers yet another cash payment and share issue. That being some way off it is not a worry at the moment.

As an island nation, maritime had always been a huge part of the UK’s “national story”, Mr Murray stressed.
He explained: “With freeports, the government’s upcoming National Shipbuilding Strategy refresh and ambitious climate targets, we can look to the sea for our future prosperity and environmental sustainability.
“And with maritime being the lowest carbon way of moving goods, let’s get freight off roads and rail, and onto our waters.”
Si..if there is a plan going on behind the scenes there will be little evidence in the public domain.When first the old board were ousted from infa I suspected a plan in place and government in my view was and still see indirectly involved.Just my opinion .The gas cavern project is in my view interlinked with other businesses and they all have to be in position before that green light is given .I still maintain the ML has been used as a stalling tactic until all ducks are lined up..we shall see .exciting isn't it!.

SI_Derman In relation to both of your posts of this morning. While I do not necessarily subscribe to the suggestion that there is some ulterior motive to the delay in reaching a decision on the marine license. I note that one of the proposed routes for a connection between Scotland and Northern Ireland runs close to Islandmagee. This perhaps complicating factor would be covered in the submission to the Minister. I would also observe that the Northern Ireland Ministers are known to take their time in reaching a decision on occasion. We will get a decision when the Minister makes it which may or may not be this month.
Further to that and not wishing to be antagonistic in any way.
Maybe the five or six individuals that are obviously in agreement with your opinion want to offer up some actual evidence to back it up. Or are they just so desperate for a conclusion to this saga that anything will do?

I think your confusing an attempt at humour as sarcasm.
Up to now all you have provided is your opinion and not a single shred of evidence that would back up your theories. And as they stand, what you are suggesting is so far fetched as to read like a conspiracy theory or the synopsis of a Dan Brown novel.
Yes, the ML issue has dragged on for what seems like a ridiculous amount of time, even allowing for Covid related disruption. Excessive time in reaching a conclusion has lead to uncertainty and second guessing as to the reason for such a delay.
And, may I say, more ambiguous interpretations.
This delay could be misconstrued as being a bit fishy if you don't beleive it is just going through due process.
It shouldn't take this long, hence there must be something else going on in the background.
That's just pandering to a need for confirmation bias. IMO
Maybe, sometimes, things just take time. Their time, not ours. They don't have a stake in the outcome and so perhaps oblivious to how long it takes. Just doing their job and nothing more.

I am still awaiting the inrush of canny investors, as predicted on here, who wised up over the weekend to the multi-bagging potential, following the transformative news announced on Friday last week.
Oh wait, the market seems to have realised that a £26m contract won't even touch the sides and that the numbers announced on Monday were shocking.
