PIWORLD interview: Larry Zulch, CEO, Invinity Energy Systems (IES) & the renewable energy landscape.
Here, Larry Zulch discusses the implications of the massive increase in energy prices, together with the Ukraine – Russia conflict to drive the transformation to alternative energy; and what that means for the sector and specifically Invinity.
Long duration energy storage (LDES) will be integral to the alternative energy transition. Here Larry explains more about vanadium flow batteries, and other options. LDES will be a £10+ billion market, where Infinity, through the partnership with Siemens Gemesa, target 10% market share by 2030, and providing over 100 GWh during the next 5-8 years. Funding for this will be supported by Governments around the world, in particular, the USA and Germany accelerating their energy transition.
The race is on for this to happen quickly. For Invinity, expect news on the Siemens Gemesa product and commercialisation early next year.

Here and I note the last post in May 2021 at an SP of 160p.
£25 Million raised at 100p in November and current SP 60p ish.
Traction building are a number of global projects being commissioned this quarter, more orders incoming & global freight issues easing.
Nice ISA tuck away imo.
I’m buying at these levels.
Energy storageInvinity Energy Systems (AIM:IES) is a developer and manufacturer of vanadium flow batteries for large-scale energy storage requirements. The current Group was formed in April 2020 as a result of a merger between AIM listed redT energy PLC and Canada based Avalon Battery Corporation, two vanadium flow battery manufacturers.
Bloomberg New Energy Finance predicts the energy storage sector will receive approximately US$620 billion in new investment by 2040 with the market projected to grow at nearly 900% between 2017 and 2022. Against this background, VFBs are expected to capture around 18% of a total addressable stationary energy storage market by 2027.

I think they are getting their Vanadium from a company called Bushveldt, initially anyway, though there are evidently many sources.
Never posted here before. Am a shareholder in BMN which has 8.71% of IES. Your price is flying -delighted to see. Your VRFBs will require Electrolyte. Hopefully your company will be sourcing this through BMN and so I and many other swish you well and hope your success will rub off onto the ridiculously cheap BMN share price.
