I was intrigued by the reference to this being achieved on a single shift. Why mention this unless you were already thinking about running double shifts?
Yeah, it seems like it's a positive development. You'd think they wouldn't be looking to increase reactor capacity unless they knew demand for it was imminent. Also, 8-fold is an enormous expansion to a capacity that is probably not fully utilised at present. We could be moving into some exciting times for Haydale
Investment to support growing demand is always a good thing (if managed correctly)
Haydale, with the support of Innovate UK, is implementing its plan to expand its capacity to manufacture functionalised nanomaterials including Graphene to meet growing demand. Haydale will be investing in a HT1400 plasma reactor and ancillary equipment to provide a facility to be able to increase production volume by at least eight-fold once fully optimised. The reactor will increase production at the Ammanford facility to an industrial level with capacity to functionalise over 30 tonnes per annum of graphene and other nanomaterials on a single shift pattern.
A bit of momentum this last week..... hmmm
I hope Haydale gets the same news soon with IRPC

However, an official government spokesperson stated last year that the NHS are actively looking at how PPE can be reused and decontaminated safely
I think the curreny levels are 'Safe' to get back in, but I still anticipate further downside or Consolidation.
Either way I'd allow a 20% downside if you get in now, but at these levels the previous price action shows decent support.
I'm hesitating in getting back in right now though.
Company had 2.7m June 20, plus 3m raise September 20 and 1.88m as at Dec 20.
Cash burn is therefore c.£540k per month.
Company therefore costs c.6.5m per annum. Income this year projected to be c.3m.
Fundraise coming by Sep 21 at the very latest to cover the c.3.5m loss.
The Company is in a better position than it was (2020 loss = c.4.4m) but it must turn CeramycShield, Bolflex into significant revenue streams. The return of aviation will help with the US operation. The Thai operation appears to be the only successful arm of the group, displaying modest but organic growth.
Hopefully we don't take too much of a kicking when the fundraise comes.
It would appear that sales have been ****.
There's a ref on here dated 5 Feb stating 91485, 91518 on 8 Feb and mine is dated 22 Feb 91548 = 63 sales in 17 days is ****e.
Also above are despatch nos. of 11554 as at 8 Feb, 11567 as at 8 Feb and 11621 as at 22 Feb, an increase of 67.
I'd put the discrepancies down to the times the orders were made on their respective days.
Either way, that's not a lot of sales from 5 Feb to the 22 Feb.
That's four sales a day average, at most!
Hence why it wasn't mentioned in this morning's TU.
Shouldn't be surprised really. The Company's marketing has been *******s. If it carries on like this there's a chance that Icraft will dissolve the distributor agreement.
Cash at Period end of £1.88 million (30 June 2019: £2.70 million)
9 September 2020
Placing to raise approximately £3.0 million
1,88+3=4,88
Cash raise is on the cards.
I thought it was good overall, these were the bits I picked out as being particularly positive:
- Group Revenues of £1.28 million for the Period, 5% down on H1 FY2020;
To only drop 5% versus pre-covid is excellent
- Adjusted operating loss for the Period reduced by 34% (H1 FY2021 £1.39 million vs H1 FY2020 £2.1 million);
Speaks volumes that they're managing to reduce the cost base
- Completed a successful trial of CeramycShield™, a ceramic surface treatment that utilises SIC to enhance and protect concrete assets, at a Central American water treatment facility;
The area of enhancing concrete to reduce water waste is going to be a big one for them, and it's great to see them doing this outside of the UK, in a location where North and South American water companies will take notice
Considering their focus on aviation pre-pandemic and how hard it's been hit, the fact they've been able to pivot and focus on other areas reflects well, and with so much of the aviation fleet being mothballed, once demand does come back up I think the latent momentum there will be greater than it would have been pre-pandemic.
Overall, it's obviously been a tough time for Haydale but they seem to be pulling through well and setting up a good foundation for the future.
Very positive RNS I think. Lots of bits to pick out as positives!
First prices posted 6.8-7.0
4p it is then.
Agm and versarien nose dived recently. Notnsure why or just over valued graphene stocks at the moment. Long game!
Will be all ok I think. Don’t think the SP will shift too much. Fingers crossed it’s as good as we hope
Should be interesting. Either 4p or 9 p.
IRPC also use polymer as raw material for face masks, which will lead to such products as N95 and graphene face masks.

same feelings.... hopefully next week there will be good news.
The last two Fridays in a row we've seen a Haydale bounce in the afternoon...last Friday was from 7.5p up 8p and the Friday before it rocketed from 6.1p to 7.1p...will it do the same today?
Lots of exciting news in the Haydale world at the moment, I'm excited/scared for results day next Wednesday - very much hoping that they'll be announcing some good news re:agreements with Yorkshire Water and mask sales and we'll really start to see a strong pipeline of sales developing for them.
